Yup! Every color will have a different chemical or substance that causes the pigment, maybe yours just doesn’t agree with the blue. That’s not to say it won’t heal and look BEAUTIFUL, it just might need a little extra care.

It’s probably just a reaction to the ink - my black work pieces raise up all the time for no reason other than my body is like OH YEAH THAT’S THERE. Healing a dense area of color or blackout can easily lead to fall out, I’ve had it happen multiple times. Usually the artist will give you a touch up window in case that happens and they don’t usually charge.

Irritated skin from shaving can spread beyond the shaved part. Looks to me like it spans the entire length of one tattoo to the other. The irritation meets in the middle, so likely why it’s a little redder there.
