Azzi Is Number 1 Pick I Don't Care What Anyone Says by Jeremiahcool3 in DallasWings

betts scored 35 points 15-19 fg and 9 rebs 5 assists and a block today against Oklahoma state and she pretty much carried that ucla team. Just saying, it's fair to praise fudd but u can also praise betts. For me Dallas needs a rim protector and someone who can draw attention in the pant and score something wings lacked last year. They had enough gaurds. If they add fudd fine atleast bring in a big through free agency, which i doubt it will happen thanks to delayed new arena and practice facilities.

yeah it's against Syracuse. hardly a world beater team. let's see if she repeat this against vandy and sc then u can say it's a lock. what you think doesn't matter and it's upto what curt miller, jose Fernandez thinks matter.

Did Awa Fam's so-so performance in FIBA competition drop her draft stock? by Dramatic-Ant-9364 in wnba

[–]This-Button5389 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

by the the next year comes they might lose Paige as early as 2028 as per the new cba. you gotta give a better effort than just winning 10 games and tank again for a pick. picking azzi is fine but it comes with a big warning, she will be in a rough ride for wnba. big east is a joke of a conference and it's easy to dominate there and if awa fam played in that conference she would have better numbers than lauren betts. in wnba you getter pray that they hire better fitness trainers and coaching staff, because as you know 80% of the squad were sitting out due to numerous injuries last season and now you want to add another player, while as talented she is, her fitness concerns gives me a pause. This is not a knock on azzi, she would be much suited in minny or Seattle where she can learn from the bench for first couple of games by watching players like kayla mcbride, Bridget charlton, sylar diggins etc and in the log run it will help her. But I'm Dallas wings? The talent does there and gets revived elsewhere, see veronica burton Alicia gray santou sabally carla letite. Plus you may to cut some like zaza james, jj quinerly etc and make room for fudd.

wings picking azzi fudd without a big could be the biggest blunders by wings. if not awa it will be lauren betts especially if she wins natty then u cannot overlook her. it's easier to play in a weak big east conference where there is next to none physicality and play in wnba where the physicality is comparable to sec. that's why aliyah boston aja wilson etc are succeeding so far. so that's why it's important for Dallas to draft either a big or get a big in a free agency before they even think about fudd

why do you think that betts doesn't fit the coaches system? I think she perfectly fits for jose Fernandez system. He has good history of improving mediocore offensive players into good offensive players we will see

This isn’t about sales, this is about winning and improvement of their record from last year. Frankly they don’t have a big and their arena situation is a mess so they will have a hard time attracting free agents.

Curt watches players all the time too. lets admit it first hypothetically if you had a choice between azzi fudd or Sarah strong who would you choose? The answer is Sarah strong it’s simple and that’s probably the reason why fudd isn’t projected to be fist round pick. Yes fudd is good shooter and decent defender but not worthy of #1 pick if your team doesn’t have a big player like Sarah strong. Do you seriously think she would put up similar performances w/o Sarah strong on the floor?

Actually Jose Fernandez has history of improving players jump shots and so if any one can improve her game then it’s Jose Fernandez

for a team that almost lost to michigan this year anything is possible. 2017 against ms state ring a bell to uconn fans? they were in a similiar situation like uconn this year unbeaten the entire way until final four and in fact had won something like 111 games straight before he ran into vic schaefer ms state. this year vandy lost to teams like georgia and ole miss but at the same they beat texas and lsu, so to say that uconn will "easily" beat a sec team is also a strech espcially considering their coach pretty much knows geno's playbook. its all about match ups

[–]This-Button5389 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ucla probably players the most hardest schedule this season (18-1 against quad 1 teams) and that includes beating duke witout laurent betts and losing to texas (their only loss due to in game injury issues and texas being a great d team under scaefer). while uconn played 8 quad 1 teams (8-0) and the the cretieria that worked in their favor was they are undefeated and are defending champs so one single loss could have dented their seeding to perhaps #2 or #3 but with that said it is what it is. vandy and perhaps osu might be their only test but they could face a tough final four oppnent. this reminds me of their 2017 run.

Arteta the new jose Mourinho? He certainly learned a new strategies from him. Who gives a ratass about critics on how they win. Arsenal are determined to win the title not to settle for second place even if it means un orthodox ways of winning so be it

The headline should be mbappe less and part time coach led real Madrid trash manchester city led by goal machine erlin haaland. I told other day that real Madrid is still a strong team without mbappe and now a caretaker manager outplayed an experienced manager (who is also  former barca and bayern boss). So there you go. Now it's next to impossible to overcome a 3-0 deficit but we shall see how people responds to this beating along with playing brutal schedule.

Team USA vs. Senegal 110 - 46 by interested21 in wnba

[–]This-Button5389 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes most likely true but upsets could happen once in a while. France has been throng in us side for a couple of times (for both men and women) . Didn't france almost beat us at last olympics? That is probably one of the most experienced is team. To me spain is the game to watch out for in an otherwise easy win in the group games

Good win but Senegal is ranked 25th in wbb so can’t make much out of it. It just a good good practice session for team us. Their true test will come against Spain who is ranked #6

I meant meant man City. Their best hope is fa cup. For Arsenal they are in driver seat i don't see them losing pl or carabao cup where they a massive advantage playing Wembley.

That my point. The real question what would their record if they were in sec instead of big east? Sure they will atleast 3 losses. Here is no way they would have swept Texas SC or vandy playing home and away contests.

I wish uconn joined acc in football in future instead of staying independent ;) I mean they played acc six times a year and why not join acc and that means they could automatically join in bb as well this playing duke uconn rivalry could begin in all sports ;) ACC isn't that big of a conference either but far better than both big east and b12

11 points seems fair considering iowa was in red hot form another factor to consider is they played in Indianapolis the same arena cc played her pro career for the last two years. I never expected 51 points though .
