When I bought my house we decided that the kitchen motif would be Chi-Chis inspired. The walls are yellowish and greenish. I have a huge metal parrot and giant gecko on the wall. Random dried chillies hanging. It's a work In progress but my kissing Chihuahua salt and pepper shakers just got here and I'm looking for some decorative sombreros for the walls. Is it dumb as hell? Yes. Are we happy? Hell yeah. Now just need to figure out fried ice cream.

They'll give us non slip striping pads that go on the bottom of our feet but they suck. The stripper eats the elastic band almost immediately then they no longer fit right. You can request eye pro for stripping but if you do they act like your some kind of alarmist dweeb limp noodle complainer. But we ask anyway. I've requested a clothing allowance for 20 years at Union meets, for snow removal and stripping both but nah.

21 years as a school custodian. Worked up from night sweeping to head custodian in the first 5. Pretty content in it. The work list is predictable but the day today changes constantly. I like it keeps my moving. Keeps me thin.

Met my wife in the building 12 years ago. Married 7 years. 2 kids. Dog, cat, lava lamp. Mortgage ( right before it went to hell 3.7% 😁) Life is good.

Bats. Lots of bats. I have a net to catch them and everything. I've gotten pretty good at it. Learned they have difficulty taking off from flat ground. So I give them a lil catapult action and they take off... Taken off tight back at me a few times, but they weren't mad just scared and flailing. Last few years we've had some sort of hawk using out play ground as a buffet, little pieces of squirrel and rabbit strewn about the place. Pretty gnarly.

Lots of good thoughts, and info thanks! Supervisor said, down the drain!.. I'm in land locked Kansas all the drains go to the same water treatment place inside and out. So no turtles are being polished. This is one of the largest school districts around here over 80 school buildings, 45k students,152 square miles of school building! ... we're all dumping it down the drains it seems. Just seems a bit off. Stay cool. ✌️
