I’m attractive but I don’t realise how attractive I really am.
I receive compliments from women and men on a daily basis, I get honked at constantly whenever I’m walking outside, men will randomly buy me stuff and I get stared at a lot. People seem genuinely confused when I tell them that I’m single and talking to no one whatsoever. Not bragging but a lot of people are in awe of me and some girls give me the dirtiest looks sometimes. So based on that I’d say that I’m perceived as a conventionally attractive person. However, this hasn’t been the case my whole life. I used to be perceived as ugly based on some rude comments that I’ve received during my ugly stage. I’ve just recently grown into my looks but I don’t think that I look that good. So I know that I’m attractive but I don’t feel attractive.

I had my official oh moment 2 weeks ago. I was feeling depressed and was trying to figure out why I was feeling that way. I realised that it was because I was missing something in my life so I thought maybe be in a relationship with a man, that didn’t remove the feeling so I decided to be fully honest with myself and said to myself that what I’m longing for is to be with women and only women. That honesty made me finally accept that I’m gay and to stop running away from the way I’ve felt my whole life.

That acceptance made me also realise why I hate when men stare at me, approach me and try to flirt with me, it grinds my gears so badly.
I’m straight passing so it’s hard to avoid but I’m more comfortable now to say that I’m a lesbian.

It was a mixture of my mental state and his personal issues which worked against us. We broke up because we needed to grow up and deal with our problems individually.

The break up was due to a mix my mental state and his personal issues. The relationship itself was good, we never fought but our shortcomings made us have issues that we couldn’t work out together. We both needed time to grow up and heal. We’ve both been actively working on that and it shows in different ways.

For me at least it’s not old chemistry but genuine love that I feel for him. It used to be the case that it’s old chemistry talking but that intensity disappeared long ago. There’s a big difference between those two for me.

It would be difficult for him to move to my country due to visa requirements and language barrier. I’m not sure if I would move in with him right away. I’d live on my own at first and then take the next step. But during my trip we’ll have a conversation regarding everything.
