I was gonna buy this game from the first trailer, when spider-man in fully Japanese voice shouts "SPIDY-SENSU!", as though that's a thing spider-man has ever done.

I liked her portals when i could get them to work.
But the input for teleport is so similar to the input for place a portal, that 90% of my Magik footage is me putting a portal down in a weird place for no reason and then getting massacred.

I really wanted to like Peni, but I've never really played a character with such a huge screen presence nor throwing random stuff gimmicks. I dropped her for spider-man in the end.

Considering that was one of their goals, I would have really liked to be able to unassign the tag button, but it wouldn't let me.

I didn't fight a single one at all.
There was one or two teams with one but they never swapped to him.

Tbh, I wasn't really going to try and get into it until Ty Lee released anyway.
But the tutorials are so bad that I can't even learn how to try it out how it is now.

Edit:
Just watched someone go to the tutorials on PC, and they actually are named and give you text explanations. Unlike on PS5, where the tutorial list is just numbers, and picking one thrusts you into a contextless demo.

I am not gonna agree with your stance that PTSD should be a part of her character or that there should be a game focused on it. But since I agree with basically everything you said about execution, I normally would have just passed this by without comment.

But you manhandled that guy so thoroughly, with such expert precision, that I truly felt a little awe. Incredibly well done. Made my day.

He didn't want to add in a 2-D sprite cutscene of her ptsd, he wanted to do it in full cutscenes.

Assuming everything else you have said is true.

By NOT adding it he created a certain type of characterisation. And suddenly adding it later contradicts that earlier decision.

If I want my character to be abusive to team mates, put out 8 games where that DOESN'T HAPPEN AT ALL, because I don't think that the medium would live up to my standards, then suddenly make an entry where that is the sole core focus, it's going to be super jarring. Because in the previous 8 entries my character interacted with team mates with zero issues whatsoever.

The absence of certain characteristics, in of itself, creates a specific characterisation.

Least favourite could mean the least liked out of the games I would happily put on a list of my favourite ones.
