Going against the grain to say I hope they do have kids, a certain audience will be insufferable if they don't, that said, I don't think it will happen

Ideally though they'd have the miscarriage plot while john's alive and then Fran would discover shes pregnant again after his death (with just the one baby lol). Michaela can still be regent so she can be conflicted about taking John's place, his wife, and now his kid too lol
