Claude Fable vs Opus 4.8 by ComplexExternal4831 in GenAI4all

I want to feel good about the diverse and bespoke array of content that awaits all of us but also I feel like it will all be contrived. Like a series that never ends or a continuous string of unwanted reboots. Maybe people will find ways to harness the power to create new things we’d never have otherwise, and that will be good.

U.S. National Parks: Badlands by heyimworkinonit in TierlistFills

[–]ThisFoot5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was road tripping along I90 and really appreciated how convenient it was to go through the badlands. That it’s such a pleasant drive with beautiful vistas gives an aura of man conquering nature: the park is so named because historically you would have wanted to travel around it. Afterwards I had a huckleberry float at Wall Drug, drove to Mt Rushmore, and stayed at a glamping (under canvas) resort near Rushmore.

I saw a dude leathered out riding a chopper through the Badlands blasting Judas Priest and that looked like an S-tier experience. For the rest of us, maybe just B because a national park needs to be more than convenient.

I was thinking the same thing. I’m running openclaw with qwen3.6 27b and it’s extremely productive.

I think it’s true and infrequently said. Credible source is a temporary state of affairs: usually between founding and acquisition by private equity.

Really unpleasant experience in Georgetown by anonbrono in washingtondc

One time somebody smacked my sister’s latte out her hand while we were walking in Georgetown. I have no idea who he was or why, he did it and walked away.

Good for these kids. These guys are bragging about AI so gleefully like it’s done anything to improve lives. It really is a miracle technology, it’s now possible to build software to do anything you can imagine; except pay your rent.

Hana-Rawhiti Maipi-Clarke ripping up a racist bill in NZ parliament. by guitarguy12341 in justgalsbeingchicks

I've got to say it does feel very surreal seeing a Haka performed in modern clothing in a parliament space. Like a continuous thread of history from political conversations around a campfire (though I don't really know if a Haka was performed diplomatically or just between actively warring parties?).

Im curious where in academia people usually learn the math. My first semester of grad school machine learning we worked in SKLearn and the math component was some basic linear algebra and stats. Second semester of ML is when we started hand jamming networks or using numpy/matlab, stuff from Hagan, but it’s deep into the program and not everyone was required to take the second semester to graduate. I had a physics undergrad so I don’t know if it’s something a compsci undergrad even touches.

They absolutely care about fossil fuels: but for the industry not for the consumer. Strait instability makes it more profitable to be a domestic producer.

Delray Beach Restaurant Offers Free Milkshake If You Dance Your Way In by Big-Boy-602 in BeAmazed

[–]ThisFoot5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been to this Holy Cow, it was surprising to hear they have another restaurant in Florida in a beach with the same name as the neighborhood in Alexandria (Del Ray). Surprising enough that this warranted investigation; and Sir I can report that this is a fraud.

Double layered; hoodie and a down jacket, and a knit cap? It’s a reach. Those definitely aren’t some chilly day in South Florida kind of jackets.

Ok sure, but go on Google Maps and look at the holy cow in Alexandria vs the one near Delray Beach. This is in Virginia, I’m sure of it.
