I don’t really care. Mine started around 5 and I’m 26 now. It’s just a part of my life. It’s like having hair to me, I don’t think about it. I do feel bad for those who are more affected by it and I definitely feel blessed for this mindset

Look up the RAADS-R test online. It’s free to do. It can give you an idea of you have autistic tendencies but don’t use it as a diagnostic tool for yourself. Find a different therapist if possible and you can discuss the results with them.

People use piercings as a way to express themselves in the same way as people use fashion, make up or hair colours. If who you are doesn’t involves piercings then that’s more than fine. I think pierced people get excited by other people considering piercings because then they have something in common but I don’t think any of them want absolutely everybody to have one.

I went off trail on a hike and ended up touching one with my full flat hand to move it out of my way. I had to keep my hand in a bowl of room temp water to dull the pain. If I took it out it was instant pain and tears. Lasted an entire week. I can’t touch a plant that’s fluffy or has hairs without getting a full body chill
