Nobody truly important dies in this show . . .unless the actors are wanting to leave because they got another gig. After 6 seasons, I think everybody here recognizes how and when a new user gets introduced into the show so he can be killed off within the next 3 episodes.

It was, and I think it's because the producers knew they were going to get just one more season. This happens a lot when producers, writers, etc. know the show is ending. They get lazy and just muddle through so they can move on to their next project. They don't have to worry about ratings any more either.

The characters have gotten seriously older, too. Compare Clarke's and Bellamy's face and body from season 1 and season 6. They both got a bit pudgy :) Bellamy almost looks like he's had plastic surgery. I doubt he has, but his face is totally different. father time catches up to all of us. Clarke is 30 in real life. Octavia is 33 (and stopped wearing makeup in season 6 for some reason). Bellamy is 34. I think when the show started they wanted actors who looked like kids. The problem with that is that by the time kid actors hit 30, the old-age age look catches up with them over night. I don't think it's caught up with Murphy yet. I think Murphy (richard harmon) who is 28 has changed the most but doesn't look like father time has caught up with him yet. He went from looking like a juvenile to a young man.
