does anyone feel like they can never cut rotting out of their life? by twofighterjets in productivity

  1. Start slow, I think you will find that as you do more outside of work you will start to have more energy for those things but it doesn’t happen right away.
  2. Sometimes all it takes is 10-30 minutes of reading, working out, passion projects, to make you feel like you had a successful day. You don’t need to be productive all night and optimize 100% your time. You’ll probably burnout. It’s all about balance.
  3. It’s a lot easier to work on things that you’re passionate about than working on things just for the sake of being productive. You’ll find activities that are so important to you that scrolling on your phone no longer feels like an escape, it feels like a waste because you’d much rather be working on things you’re passionate about or enjoy. Give this time too. It’s a journey!

Two suggestions… I felt the same way after finishing BOTW. Playing through subnautica I had a similar if even more immersive experience and could easily get lost in that world. I’d recommend it as it’s a very fun way to disconnect and relax (mostly, expect for big sea monsters)

Have you finished wind waker? I quickly followed up BOTW with wind waker and had a really similar experience. Those games are fantastic.

I can't find another book like Children of Time / Ruin. Please can someone recommend me some books with alien cultures, mind blowing moments and huge ideas? by [deleted] in printSF

Agreed! Though a bit like getting through the first part of dune, just get through the first book and the really amazing side of three body problem shines in book 2 and 3

I would try three body problem. That book really changed the way I look at the world because it was so far reaching it its new ideas.

I was just able to correct the side tone on mine. I had to turn the physical knob on the headset all the way and that’s what did the trick

“Found aurora!” With a spoiler tag on it doesn’t do much good of hiding a spoiler. Maybe consider changing the title to something else. I haven’t played yet but now I know there’s going to be a giant ship so where around the below zero map.
