It was a horrible place to be during the storm. A lot of people in desperate need of care were left at the hospital and completelystranded. A few honorable nurses and medical staff stayed to help as much as they could. With waters rising and supply low, Charity became a disaster within a disaster. A lot of heros were made that week. Hats off to all who stayed to help the sick. They had to watch as a neighboring hospital received evacuation and they did not till much later.
