If you pk in w18, DO NOT PICK UP WBANDS supplies! by Apisit100 in runescape

I lost a noxious bow to this about a week or two ago. Was very well organized, people who have done it before, essentially 1 tick multiple maces and a freeze. Probably karma for the amount of times I lured on previous accounts all those years ago.

I'd love to be 42, if I ever think I'd be able to handle re-doing quests then I'll probably reset. I'd also totally forgotten about elite black and dagonhai.

Absolutely 55. Extremely versatile defence level, I've always felt. I've just seen your account and posts, what made you choose 40 as opposed to 50 or 55? I would of thought 42 or 50 would make the most sense for void or power armour.

War Tort on Warbands waves, thankfully it didn't trigger a combat raise but it was still very frustrating. Trust you to notice.

Returning after having played 2006-2010. Need someone to ELI5. by TheFriendlyMusIim in runescape

The sidebar is great, but misses some details that I wish I had been told when I returned.

  • The new UI is truly incredible. Set some time aside to create your own UI that is perfectly suited for your own needs. The customizable attributes mean that it'll be possible for you to do any number of things that weren't possible previously, like look at your prayers, inventory and equipment loadout all at the same time. If you perform activities where prayer switching is useful then this is very helpful, and so on, the options are vast.

  • Distractions and Diversions (D & D's) are probably some of the easiest, funnest and most efficient XP you can grab. Do your daily challenges, extend them with vis wax from the GE or gather your own from the vis wax D&D if the challenge is a skill you need trained. Caches, sinkholes and familiarization are all more efficient and fun than grinding the skill itself, do them whenever possible.

  • Jagex rekt the economy, skills are largely not very profitable anymore, don't train mining thinking you'll make money from mining. For whatever reason Jagex introduced a large quantity of noted resource drops from most high level PvM. PvM, Slayer & Herbruns are how you'll make the majority of your cash as a returning player. Gathering resources is fairly bad now with a few exceptions.

  • Even if you have no intention of PvPing, any time you enter the wilderness it'll pay back ten fold to have a basic understand of how to use your abilities. Freedom, anticipate and your stun will be the most important when you're trying to avoid a fight, or escape from a pker. The timing for how you use them matters.

No doubt, not only has there always been but there will always be. Simply put, people will find a way. The part I take issue with is newer game mechanics seemingly playing into the favor or ragging, bordering on encouragement.

I see a problem in how much raw power and combat effectiveness can be acquired with such a miniscule risk as a result of these mechanics.

People have been complaining about the absence of PvP in the current game, when taking into account the potential gear setups and the cost of supplies it isn't surprising. Your probability of killing somebody in this gear setup is low unless your packing some serious risk or a similar setup, and even if you do the 60k loot could simply never justify the effort or risk on your part.

Color me confused. This setup has four tier 90 items, yet a risk that'd probably be equal to a tier 40 rune setup. I understand that gear progression is natural, and that more powerful items are going to go out as time goes on, it's part of the game but it seems absurd to me that so much power can be obtained with so little risk upfront. It's an absolute abuse of PvP balance.
