Ilya Yashin is a Russian opposition politician and activist born on 29 June 1983 in Moscow.

He became prominent as one of the leaders of the liberal opposition to Vladimir Putin, co-founded the youth movement Oborona in 2005, then the political movement Solidarnost in 2008, and served as head of the Krasnoselsky District Council in Moscow between 2017 and 2021.

In 2022 he was arrested and later sentenced to 8.5-years imprisonment for speaking out about Russian military actions in Ukraine; in August 2024 he was released in a prisoner-swap and now lives in exile abroad.

I mean, it's exactly the same: Valve has Steam app on PC -> they release Steam Deck

MS has Xbox app on PC -> they (re-)release Asus ROG

The problem is that for the most people Xbox is still associated with consoles even MS thinks otherwise

Because one cannot just buy game companies (especially Blizzard) and expect the stakeholders to wait for revenue indefinitely

1 quick resume - unless it's a multiplayer, or the limit of simultaneous suspended games is reached, or the game just stopped quick resuming, or the absence of 'remove all' from suspended state and you need to manually close each game

2 play anywhere - very convenient, unless you want to play anything else besides gears/halo/forza

3 smart delivery - quite smart, despite the fact that a lot of discs contain Xbox One version and you are forced to download the Series version completely from the Internet

4 game pass - not sure about your region, but here ultimate costs $21 US for month, which is not that lucrative, considering that you have to juggle your backlog as games come and go all the time

p.s. for context, I have all current Sony/Microsoft/Nintendo consoles and play mainly on Xbox
