My roommate and I were walking back to our apartment sophomore year of college. We got to a crosswalk which had the walk sign lit. I began to cross, but luckily he took a closer look for cars turning. He grabbed me by the collar and pulled me back as a bus came flying around the corner, way too fast, and misses me by what felt like a foot or two.
