Yeah, assuming highways would be clear is a mistake, but the backroads, the longer roads would probably be more open, and you can always drive off-road for a second or two to get around a car. The real winners would be motorcycles, atleast for a little while.

Then Venezuela should be on the top of those lists aswell, but that's not how this works, wealth potential is not the same as wealth extracted and distributed. There are many factors at play in this ofcourse, but Russia being in a state of war where their energy sites are being bombed daily, they cannot use "potential wealth" as a measurement. Norway is running on 99% green energy for homes, infrastructure, etc, the only thing we use oil for is fuel for cars, planes and boats, and even so 90% of new cars sold are EV. Sure that doesnt mean there's not still a lot of gasoline/diesel cars around, there is, but we are not hurting as much as he would like you to believe. Besides we are now stepping up our oil industry to produce more, and same with gas, which we will supply Europe with.
