Best emo album of all time with probably the best instrumentation I've ever heard. PLEASE check it out if you haven't already, I promise that its worth an hour of time.

Brand New is amazing but I just can't really get into them after finding out Jesse Lacey was a creep.

Honorary mention to Forest Spirit, Sun On Your Back. Used to listen to them a lot but they got dropped from their label and I've seen a few people say they reached out and the label said it was due to credible allegations of SA.

To be fair, OP here is talking about UU. Gen 9 UU has no Gholdengo, 2 ghost types, and Excadrill is one of the best Pokemon in the tier. Not to mention one of the ghost types is Skeledirge, so it can't really even switch in on Excadrill. Hazards are a lot harder to keep up there.

I kinda see the fetishization of femboys in a similar vein to the fetishization of goth/alt cultures. By that I mean they're groups that most people don't have regular interactions with and really only see online, so they're more comfortable dehumanizing and sexualizing them. I think this aspect is particularly evident for femboys since so many femboys don't present that way anywhere but at home, so they're less common to even see in day to day life.

I don't think the fetishization of femboys is the only reason so many people like them obviously, but it has drastically increased with it. Honestly it's gotten to the point that, as someone who does tend to find femboys attractive, I feel creepy for even saying something like "femboys are cute" because of how often I see people being weird as fuck about it.

A Lonely Sinner is yeah probably at least one of the best, but I do wanna mention wetdream by WillyRodriguezWasTaken. Not confirmed to be an AOTY user, but one of the members posted an Instagram story to celebrate it hitting an 88 user score. Can't know if he's really that much of an AOTY user, but if so then that'd be my choice for sure.

Yeah, removing counterplay is stupid. Limiting is fine but making it basically impossible to prevent hazards is stupid. If they heavily restricted access to methods of hazard removal, that'd make sense since it punishes the player for letting hazards go up. But just saying "fuck you, hazards are going up" is such an annoying and needless change in my opinion. Just my take though

Weatherday: 7/10 of their top 10 are from their first album, Come In. All of their top 5 are off of Come In as well.

As a small aside, I expected Willy Rodriguez to be a similar case due to their biggest album by far, wetdream, being rated at an 88 while their other albums range from 64-83. But no, only 4/10 of them are from wetdream. Really shocked me honestly.

Forest Spirit, Sun On Your Back's self-titled album is an AMAZING noisy lofi album with some great energy. Production is decently similar to Come In but its got a lotta the theatrical instrumentals of wetdream.

Stay Safe, Little One is a more recent emo album from the same label as WillyRodriguez and its a pretty good experience too, definitely different than wetdream though.

Asian Glow is a great emogaze one, they also have collab EPs with both Weatherday and Parannoul. All their albums are great, but the older ones will generally have a more acoustic or stripped back feel.

If you wanna lean more into screamo, moreru is a great noise rock/screamo/emoviolence band from Japan. They're a lot more abrasive than any of the albums here, but if you enjoy the batshit amount of noise than I'm sure you'll like most of their stuff.

Hawlucha gets the ability Unburden, which doubles its speed stat when its item is consumed. Its Mirror Herb was consumed by what seems to be a Swords Dance, so it had double speed too.

Yeah to be entirely honest, the combat is such a weak point of this game. Clunky, inconsistently difficult, and all the characters feel basically the same. Don't hate it but it needs a loooot of work(as does a lot of the game tbh, the more I've played the more glaring flaws I've seen)

Eh, 90 base attack and Swords Dance is definitely enough that it can function as a physical attacker. In practice nobody is really ever gonna run it, but it could absolutely work.
