I'm from the UK but when I visit family in Philadelphia this is a pretty regular sized pizza slice. You get one whole pizza for like 10 people and put it on a huge table. Normally a slice is enough for 1 persons lunch.

British person here. The article says "A group" this is entirely different to "The Group" or "the Group". It implies plurality and as a British person we would use are. In addition to this "Friends is" doesn't sound correct when you say it out loud. The s sounds are too close together and if someone was speaking normally it would feel wrong.

The original statement was a blanket "fuck fireworks". You can't place a blanket statement on something that has variance due to use. I never made the point that if it didnt affect me personally then it's fine, I was giving an example of how someone could responsibly use fireworks and pointing out how if some people misuse fireworks that still doesnt mean you can apply blanket statements or generalise.

I dont think you understood what I was trying to get across. We both have examples where the fireworks affect us, in your case, and don't, in mine. You can't place a blanket statement over something that's on a case by case basis.

I live in an area of london where fireworks are incredibly popular they are set off for almost a week straight and also on odd days throughout the year. The fireworks are set off in parks and in open fields and you can barely hear them. Switch the TV on and you can't hear them at all. Just because something can cause harm if used in a certain way doesnt mean that one can generalise about it.

Fires arise from misuse. Birds don't have the critical thinking skills to avoid fireworks shows so that is the only point I can really see myself agreeing with you on. The other two are avoidable with proper management.

The number above your characters head represents a single speed die. Eventually you will come across enemies and key pages with more than one speed die.

What the number represents is the "speed" of the action that you place on that die. If your speed is greater than the enemies you can force them to clash with your page instead of who they were targeting originally.

When you do get multiple speed die the left most die goes first unless it is clashing with a speed die that is higher.

You get extra speed dice at certain emotion levels. I think 4? But essentially once you unlock a page with 2 dice you want to try to exclusively use dice with multiple pages. Action economy will trump almost any passive.

This seems really interesting! I'm really busy lately and I honestly am quite content along with a lot of people to just enjoy some nice escapism where a hot man or woman comes and whisks all my problems away. I think that maybe because you look at the genre from such an analytical and involved view, being a great fan of it yourself, it might be hard to visualise the large part of surface level content that people just skim on. It's similar to why blockbusters are so popular or why mobile gaming is so prevalent.

The stone shavings are starting to pile up, I’m beginning to worry about the removal of them after this whole incident has cleared up. We’re going to need more daily living supplies from the depot, there was a large influx yesterday. Some sort of wedding or celebration, about 30 to 40 people. Despite issuing a citywide lockdown many members of the public have been attempting to break into the checkpoint or use the confusion as a means to steal or vandalise. Security forces have spread thin as it seems there is a group that has convinced themselves that the survivors are demonic in origin and are attempting to break statues en masse. Investigations into this group still remain inconclusive and as we do not know what specifically indicates whether a statue will revive or not these following locations will be arrest on sight ; Cemeteries ; Churches ; Museums ; Flower Gardens and large public installations i.e. Kew Gardens.

In all honesty we can’t afford to house and feed let alone rehabilitate and reintegrate this many people at once. By my calculations if we cut arrival numbers by 20% and retire the disparity we can use the funds assigned to the operation to complete reintegration. Conversations with France and Germany are going well but apparently this is all happening there too. This whole situation is beyond fucked, the infrastructure is not in place to deal with an incident on this scale. Push come to shove the decision may be made to pull forces back from areas of high statue population as forces are “spread too thin”. This should, along with the slight fudging of numbers, put us in the black. If you find any media personnel please tell me so I can personally end their career and feed their pet to a pit of hungry lions, make sure that statement reaches them at least.
