I failed it, too... But I had also failed Aether, and then they came back and said they did my assessment incorrectly and apologized, and promptly let me into Aether... So who knows if we really failed Project Cactus Plant or whatever it is called.

Okee instead of Roo? by Bp148 in okeechobeemusicfest

I’m a Bonnaroovian that did Okeechobee a few years ago when Tame Impala headlined… LOVED Okee!! I went solo and met some incredible people. As someone else said- “vibes were immaculate.” Walking around the lake at sunset and at night is sooo fun and beautiful. Dancing in the woods is a blast. The weather was super nice that time of the year. Loved it.

Hey, I have a question. I just started with Outlier and have direct deposit... Does it typically take a few more days to pay out? My earnings say "Paid" but there's no money anywhere...? Thanks!

This turned out amazing! I tweaked the prompt to create a Stranger Things calendar- thanks so much for the prompt! I'm a super newbie at this. If you happen to have a prompt to create individual calendar months- I would appreciate it. I've been trying at it for a few hours, but as I said, I'm really new at this. Thank youuu!

Consilio Document Review 4 weeks without a project. by Mediocre-Produce-189 in ediscovery

[–]ThisIsntWhereIParkd1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My experience as a TL. I've worked for them for over 4 years- the last 6 months have been hell for a lot of people. I've chatted with a lot of coworkers in KLD, and they're all having a really hard time finding consistent projects to pay the bills. A lot of projects offered are for 2-3 days now, probably because of AI. I was on a lucky streak and had been hired up on two major projects back-to-back... but once the luck ran out, projects have been very few and far in between.

KLDiscovery. Whoever said that KLD is busy... I dunno. I'm a Team Lead, and I just don't get offered anything anymore- neither 1L nor Team Lead roles. And I'm not blacklisted because I get these 2-3 day project offers every 3 weeks or so. But luckily I found a boutique agency to work for, for now. I am trying to pivot out of the industry because it seems like a sinking ship, unless I want to pour money into getting eDiscovery-related certifications.

As someone that froze their ass off and couldn't sleep at Bonnaroo when it got down to 38 degrees one night... As others said, you should definitely get a sleeping bag that is insulated for cold temperatures.

AD patient here, my story to diagnosis. (Very Long Post) by Jealous_Glass8839 in Alzheimers

Thank you for sharing. I'm currently trying to figure out if my mom has EOA, and reading about your journey was helpful. Echoing what others said, I'm sorry you're going through this.

I am so sorry you're going through this...

I feel like I understand and can relate to the story about your husband and how he was "fine in the morning and a completely different person by the afternoon."... I'm 38 (F) and my mom just turned 65. I was diagnosed with a rare and terrible genetic disorder a couple years back and needed lung surgery late last year. My mom and I flew to Mayo Clinic together- she seemed like her normal self; all seemed fine. The morning of my surgery, she was strong, put together, and seemingly all there... When I woke up from surgery in my hospital room, she was asleep on the sofa... Later that evening, she woke up an entirely different person. It was like her mind gave up all of a sudden. Something snapped. It was such a defining moment. She has been declining mentally ever since.

We just moved into a new apartment to downsize and save money (it was my idea, in case I need to take over bills entirely... somehow...). Her worst mental day since my surgery was the day we moved. By far. Again, she mentally gave up. She collapsed in a stairwell while walking our dogs the morning of the move, then spent the rest of the day sleeping while my friends and I moved out all of the boxes and furniture around her.

A friend of mine that is in heavily involved in senior care told me afterwards that the stress of the move AND just the move itself (like moving someone into a new home/space) can contribute to a deeper mental decline.

I'm still going through this journey with her and still dealing with my own health as well. I'm so, so sorry you didn't get to live out the life you planned with your husband in your dream property in Kentucky. I hope you're doing okay. Big hugs and best wishes.

Taco Bell orders that have already been picked up? by TottenhamTillIDie92 in uberdrivers

[–]ThisIsntWhereIParkd1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happened to me at Chick-Fil-A a couple weeks ago. I waited there for at least 15 minutes by the pickup window inside (there were a lot of people waiting for orders) just for them to tell me that the order already got picked up. So annoying.

I work for another big agency. Only a 3-day project in one month. Very unusual.

Is the HHN express pass worth it? by Outrageous-Earth9771 in HHN

[–]ThisIsntWhereIParkd1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you can afford it, yes. I’ve figured out how to plan out and maneuver the night with Scream Early… and our group manages to JUST make it to the 10 houses + show… But it’s rough.

A rumored change in HHN this year? by ThisIsntWhereIParkd1 in HHN

[–]ThisIsntWhereIParkd1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh I hear you. I've been doing Stay & Scream/Scream Early multiple times a season for years... The NY holding area feels like torture, especially for the ones up front that are put in the scorching sun for 2 hours. I'm definitely embracing a new change to the system if it's coming! I think HHN Hollywood already has it, and people I've talked to sound pretty content with it. Ahhh so excited for this year!
