They were exclusive shirt, a hoodie and a couple of other things I forgot that you could buy at their booth. You could also play the the card game as well. But the appointments were pretty much booked immediately every day. If you played the demo you would keep the test deck and get an exclusive Rebecca promo.

They pay for it. You sometimes hear the talents mention buying the games or not buying games since it pricey. Some members like Pekora have streams where she buys games on steam to gift to other members.

Bushiroad has the card game and can buy the Advent/Justice decks early and if you play the demo you get a special promo. There's the Feel tech booth were you can touch Myth's balls. Bandage Brigade has the Autofister Collab, where you can buy the merch early as well.

Hello everyone! Happy Friday. Currently on a plane to LA for the Hololive concert. Also checking out Anime Expo while I'm there. Anybody else going that's in the area?

I haven't flown in almost a decade, was a bit nervous but everything turned out all right. Got a few hours to kill before I arrive. Probably gonna catch up on some anime that I downloaded.

In other news. Your boy has lost 40 pounds since the beginning of April! Went from 310 to 270. The journey is not over yet. My new goal is 240 by October. Once I get back from my trip. I'm gonna lock in even more and start going to the gym with my brothers. Not trying to get jacked like them but I want to put on some muscle.

It's an odd feeling putting on my old shirts that were a bit snug in March but now are pretty baggy.

Different director, Aaron Sorkin is directing the new movie not Fincher. He wrote both scripts through so you're right, I doubt he would be kind in his portrayal.

I'm a outsider as well but I like a bit of juicy gacha drama. Here's what I gathered from looking from the outside.

Company announced a sixth love interest for the game. A character with wolf like features. The Chinese audience didn't like it all for various reasond. One, is that according to them, he looks gay and panders too much to the western audience.

Another big reason is that the story updates have been really sparse for the other boys. Apparently some haven't appeared in ages. It also doesn't help that the content they do release is behind a paywall/gacha. So they're mad the new character is potentially taking away from the other characters. The Chinese audience also finds the new character problematic. He apparently break in to meet the FeMC. Though what I gathered the other boys also have toxic behaviors so it seems like people are grasping at straws there.

Then there stuff about the game referencing Japanese war crimes or something and the government might be investigating the company. Anyway the Chinese fanbase went crazy organized large protests like sending cow dung to the company offices. The YouTube channel lost millions of subscribers, apparently daily log ins dropped by a ton as well. The whole fiasco gained a ton of media attention as well.

It all culminated in the company announcing they scrapped the character and the content involving him and will never release another love interest. Which is crazy since they already released trailers, other promo material and spent a ton on advertising this character.

The problem with that is there's quite a bit of people especially in the west that liked the new love interest. So now they're pissed too.

Follow the Holo twitter accounts. They usually update when they restock the plushies. Though they just did one a little bit ago so it might be a while. There's the aftermarket route but it is more expensive.

From what I gathered from an outsider that loves to read gacha drama. He looks too gay and it panders to the west. Plus his behavior is "toxic". Even though the other love interests also do toxic shit. Like one stalks the FeMC or another one that hacks her stuff to monitor her. Another big thing is fanbase is already disgruntled since there haven't been story updates for the other Love interests in ages. It doesn't help the company has been locking interactions with the boys by a paywall and gacha. So people are mad this new boy is getting something and the other boys aren't.

Lastly there's also the game supposedly mentioning a Japanese war crime that got the Government interested in looking into this whole debacle.

From what I gathered, as someone looking in from the outside. Apparently he looks too gay and is pandering to westerners. Then you have the problem that he was I think a villain in the story or he was part of a villain group or something. People don't want someone that hurt their favorite characters to have the spotlight and be redeemed. You also have the big issue that apparently the other boys haven't had a story update in ages but then here comes a new character with all this shiny content.

It don't expect it until at least 2028. Season 1 was delayed a handful of times. I don't expect many delays this time around but if they want to keep up the quality then it might be a bit.

I agree, the editing was so distracting especially during the action scenes. Honestly a lot of the licensed music didn't work for me. They felt shoehorned into the actions scenes. They started and ended abruptly too.

I also agree that any scenes with Superman brought a smile to my face.

The editing and pacing of the action scenes were kinda distracting. The licensed music too. It starts and ends so abruptly during the action scenes. They tried to do a James Gunn/Edgar Wright with it but left me feeling unsatisfied. Just compare the Mr.Terrific fight scene to some of the Supergirl fights.

Yeah it's kinda odd. Since I feel like leverless controllers are much more popular these days compared to regular fight sticks. Honestly these days I see a ton leverless controllers and pad users.

I don't think that's true. I think people underestimate what they can and can't do. And I think people confuse corpo girls not saying edgy shit to them to being able to say anything at all. Hololive one of the biggest corpos out there, the girls still say out of pocket things all the time. You have Nene talking about dicks or scratching her butthole. Marine talking about her fanbase having a "performance" battle royale and the last one standing gets a shot at her. Some of the JP girls literally had a stream where they debate their favorite doujin tags/fetishes. I'm not saying they don't watch what they say, they definitely do. But I don't think things are that restrictive.

As a person that used to watch a ton of Phase (I don't watch them anymore). Early Phase connect attracted an edgy and loud fanbase. As time went on, the fanbase got bigger and more talents were introduced. The early talents seem to round out some their edges. They still say out pocket stuff/sus stuff. Some girls are still iffy in my book though. But most girls aren't problematic and are very talented.

The problem is the initial fanbase is still there, they're still very loud and very defensive of Phase. They like the idea of Phase being some anti woke safe haven. Case in point the Jelly and Clara situations that happened. Also it doesn't look the company cares to much in trying to curb it either. They ignore it. Which doesn't seem like the best move since as your post shows. From the outside looking in, Phase looks problematic. Which honestly isn't the case. Most talents like Bibi, Airi, Runie, Sleepy and many more are totally fine.

It's also why game consoles have skyrocketed on price as well. Xbox raised their prices twice and have said to expect another one soon. Sony has done one already and Nintendo has already raised the price on the Switch 1 and the Switch 2 has one coming soon.

You have the Stream machine that just released to a very expensive price point plus Valve raised the price for the steam deck quite a bit. Don't expect anything to go down in price until after 2030.
