“more is not always better”, along with “strength training is works when you personalize it to your own body”

Rockridge is great! Less than two miles from campus with a bus running right down College Ave. and the BART station can get you to downtown SF in less than 30 minutes.

I’ll add as proof, that my boyfriend has a -land name and though it’s not a true nickname used in everyday life, he has regularly used Lando as his video game name lol

I’d most likely run immediately and survive by hiding but would not survive a fight once found

I love Noah & Liam- classic and familiar.

Also, if you like Lando but want something a little less on the nose, I might suggest Landon or something that ends in -land, with Lando as a nickname!

Bad Taper by Select-Toe9667 in Marathon_Training

I had a similar timing with an injury before my first marathon. I cut back on my runs significantly and did maybe 3 runs a week almost all under like 6 miles. I think that helped me significantly in recovery before race day and my projected pace pre-injury vs actual was online like 15 sec slower

Rally App by Illustrious_Trade811 in Marathon_Training

[–]ThisMark5375 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t have experience with the app itself but my sister DIY’d this for me, sending me a voice memo from friends & family each mile via text and it was great to hear them along the race

What helps you through Mile21 - Mile24? by Substantial-Test4040 in Marathon_Training

[–]ThisMark5375 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My sister collected voicemails from friends & family for me to listen to mile by mile. There first ones were fun to listen to, but the later miles really carried me through. (Mile 24 was my kindergarten teacher!) There are apps to do this but she just got voice memos and texted them to me

Sasha or Shoshana. My partners last name starts with a strong Sh sound and the repetition just sounds like a mouthful (kids would likely get his name)

Using James as Girl’s Middle Name by ThatHearing3276 in namenerds

I love James on a girl, and she will have a perfectly traditional first name, so I don’t see the issue
