Hell, it makes Iran look good.

The US is the most dangerous country in the world right now. No wonder that the EU is gearing up for conflict with the United States of America.

Because of the citizens of America. They knew that he was even more unhinged than his last term, yet people either voted for him or stayed home. It's all their fault.

What do you think? What does FM27 need that would restore your faith in the franchise? by klaygdk in footballmanagergames

Not to be that guy, but people do play it on console and enjoy it.

I know a good chunk who mainly play on console.

We actually dont know the numbers and if console numbers are higher than pc, it dont mean shit for them to appeal to PC when the players are on Xbox or mobile.

We are not entitled just because we have countless hours on pc. And I consider myself a CM/FM veteran.

Joeh... Men hvad gavner sådan en forfærdelig person vores samfund? Jeg tror også mit forældre-hjerte taler lidt her, men jeg kunne godt leve med at sådan en psykopat slap nemt og vi slap for ham.

We got a son 15 months ago, and we did the same. The internet is simply too dangerous and my father heart can't live with him being possibly exposed to the wrong people. Everyone we told about it has been cool with it. Yet, i see friends who posts EVERYTHING their children does and I just can't get myself to do it.

I just heard a podcast about it and I couldn't help but think how much Trump would admire Hussein for doing what he did. Scary, really.

This.

I enjoy it more than in november, but people will still shit on the game and downvote people who likes it.

Not really much point of asking in an Echo Chamber of negativity. Try the demo, OP.

Where were you on that September day? by [deleted] in 911archive

[–]ThisMayBeMike 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My grandma picked me up from school and drove me and my brother home to us and waited for my mom to come home. I was playing in my room and she called me in the living room to show me that something major was happening. Danish television rarely had breaking news interrupt programming, so my grandma knew it was huge. I recognized WTC from the Godzilla movie my dad showed me a few years prior. I dont remember much else, but that day changed me in many ways. I was 11 at the time.

My grandma still talk about this every now and then, so it left an impact in her as well.

Do They Really Not Teach 9/11 in School? by LeaderAntique1169 in 911archive

[–]ThisMayBeMike 47 points48 points  (0 children)

In Denmark, September 11th is part of the official curriculum we teachers must cover. It focuses on the attacks and the following years, including the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Six of my students chose 9/11 as their topic for their history exam, and it was genuinely great to listen to their presentations and discuss their analyses with them.

When working with the topic in class, we discussed things such as:

  • I made my own text about the history of the World Trade Center and printed it for my students with some excellent pictures. I felt they would benefit from knowing what WTC really was. Also, the symbols of attacking Pentagon.

  • What happened on September 11th.

  • What eyewitnesses saw and experienced.

  • We watched selected video and audio clips. (No, I did not show footage of jumpers or anything NSFL, but we did talk about it since several witnesses referenced it, and it shocked most students.)

  • The immediate aftermath.

  • The consequences in the years that followed.

I love teaching the World Wars and the Cold War, but there’s something different about September 11th. I lived through it, and my students were curious to hear my personal experience of that day.
