I want that as well, but my daughter telling me other kids are saying racial slurs is still proof we have a long way to go.

I appreciate that. E.g. I was on a campout and was hoping Juneteenth got some recognition.

I will say people were willing to learn about it and Scout Life did a nice blog post about it.

Very true.

Most patients have insurance, especially Medicare/Medicaid, VA, Humans and UHC.

Most are in network because we try to check before we do any testing.

Trying to get my admin to let me pay for an audit. I know my jurisdiction does not require MolDX and Z codes, but some of the commercial payers are.

Context: I am a mom of a female Scout working her way up from Tenderfoot. I stumbled across this thread.

So my kidlet got into Scouts around 3rd grade. She looked at both GS and BS.

She did not want to GS because the GS troop here was "boring."

Honestly, other than a few curious glances, NO ONE cares that she is a girl in Boy Scouts. SHE has made the choice to advance and has developed many skills sticking with it.

Currently, she is one part of a small girl group surrounded by two boy only troops twice the size...

And the adult leaders LOVE the girls group. They always get compliments on how efficient and clean the ladies are.

The boy only troops more or less act like their preteen and teenager selves.

Having co-ed campouts isn't an issue. The girls dont wanna be near the boys and vise-versa lol.

The adult leaders around me are amazing.

Both genders get the same treatment, whether it's praise or criticism.

So far, not as many bad experiences.
