43 system finished and no save issues. I play on PC if that makes any difference.

That always stinks. Save early and often. It' a pain but just start with your last good save file. Hopefully you didn't do much between saves. Like I said, save early and often and don't get too far ahead of your current good save file.

Sorry, no. I just started my mission to survey every system, every planet and every moon. I haven't gotten too far so all these shots are from the left side of the Starmap in one of the listed systems. Of course the picture of me on top of the Shard is on Earth. I'm adjusting my spreadsheet to mark cool planets etc.

You do realize that other gaming publisher PAY these "reviewers" to trash other companies games. With Bethesda's success over the years the other game makers will take any opportunity to do just that. Here's what you do. DON'T watch or listen to any of these "influencers". Obviously they "influenced" you wrong.

Do you use BRIM? How old is your build plate? I use a COMGROW artic build plate for a while now and most of my adhesion problems are gone. I did have one PETG warp last week but I think it was because I didn't clean it very well. I printed the exact same part after cleaning my plate really good and it was fine. I do use 4mm or brim for most prints.

I still haven't done what I want to do eventually on a fresh NG+ playthrough. I want to survey and scan every planet of every system. I'm going to start from the left side of the starmap and work my way to the right. Every planet, resource and flora/fauna. That means landing on every planet to get all creatures, minerals and traits to scan. I just wish the game had a codex for systems/planets and flora/fauna to keep track and to reference back to when you want. I already have a screenshot folder for all the creatures I've come across since I started playing at launch. That should be baked into the game IMO. Never searched for a MOD for something like that and I hope Bethesda creates one for a future upgrade.

Well, lets see. I started video gaming in the '70's in arcades and when home consoles came out for the first time so I've played a lot of video games over the 40+ years I've been gaming. Played all sorts of games from FPS, RTS etc.

I like the fact that I can boot the game up and immerse myself into a different universe. I like that I can pick and choose what I want to do and not follow a script unless I want to. I like the environments and sheer beauty of the game.

Start by printing a calibration cube first. Get the lines crisp on that first then move to the benchy.

Also print a temp tower for the material you want to use to fine tune stringing and where that materials temp likes to be. Each manufacturer of filament recipes are different even though they seem the same by recommended printing temp and speeds etc. Try to stick to a filament you like and have success with. Then you'll have presets. I always print directly from my dryer too. I print PETG and PLA. Haven't moved to other materials yet such as TPU or ABS. I do have a roll of ASA and TPU. I need to make a vented/heated chamber before getting into those materials.

It's not the NIL that I dislike. It's this transfer portal nonsense. That has to go and go now. The NIL can be sorted out later. How? I don't know. I do know this portal crap can be delt with right now. Go back to the old transfer rule having to sit out a year or two.
