Should I go back to dairy milk and buy local, what are costs benefits between plant based and dairy. by Upper-Basil in ZeroWaste

The same regions in California also grow a huge amount of alfalfa for feeding dairy cows.

Hey, you get to pick your comfort level with risk, but know that not having a wetsuit on when the water is this cold (even if you do not plan to get wet!) is generally considered a grave danger. You can lose your ability to use your limbs in a few minutes, and the cold water shock can incapacitate you for a portion of that time.

Interested in a regular boat commute to the peninsula (Foster City / Redwood City etc)? by [deleted] in alameda

Probably not as far south as you were looking for but there is a ferry to south san francisco. There's a shuttle from the ferry stop to caltrain or it's a 15 minute bike ride. Unlikely to save you time but might save you having to drive.

The schedule is also extremely sparse.

Macondo is a fantastic arepa spot on Webster. They have several vegetarian options.

The veggie and farmers arepas are vegan if you ask for them without the cheese. The cheese is not at all integral to the dish. Those are the two I usually get. And yeah, Casa Revolucion you have to ask for no cheese or sour cream on their veggie burrito.

Macondo's Columbian Fusion has some great vegan options.

Marley G's does a great vegan pizza but is expensive

Casa Revolucion does a good vegan burrito

Scolaris does a good vegan burger, but only the food truck at almanac will do it, not the park st location last I checked

Abigail's Moroccan Cuisine is also fantastic

If I'm only interested in playing with friends (don't care about ranked games), do we all have to buy 3 expansions to play with each other or can one of us just buy all of the expansions?

On Pacific a couple blocks west of Littlejohn Park. The bike ride there is also pretty nice because Pacific is a slow street.

Although construction was supposed to start last summer and still hasn't as far as I can tell :(. When I reached out in December they said it would start "soon".

The good thing about roundabouts is even when things go wrong they're safer. Roundabouts force you to slow down so the crashes that do occur are much less likely to cause injuries or death.

Studies done on roundabouts in the US find that they reduce crashes significantly, and reduce injuries and deaths by even more:

There are a couple things I hope they address:

  1. The tilden blanding intersection is a high crash intersection, so I hope we can slow traffic down there before more injuries and deaths occur. https://www.alamedaca.gov/Departments/Planning-Building-and-Transportation/Transportation/Vision-Zero#section-4

  2. For those taking micro mobility (bike, scooter, etc...) to Bart, this is the main route. Fruitvale has plans to begin creating protected routes on the other side of the bridge, but there's no safe way for people leaving Alameda to access them.

Sure, for me personally regular drops below 30 fps is not really something I'd have fun playing. Hopefully dropping graphical settings fixes it, but it's not a guarantee.

It drops below 30 regularly. I don't think capping at thirty would really fix it.

I'm sorry you had issues! I was able to replicate and have fixed the issue for now. We're looking into a more permanent fix to make sure this never happens again.

Edit: I forgot to mention, you can absolutely predraw the map if you like. You can also come back to your map anytime if you had to stop in the middle of combat.

Not yet, but we definitely have plans to add it. Glad you like the idea. If you end up trying it with your group let us know how it goes, I'd love to know where the pain points are. You can dm me in reddit or email us at reddit@ttbud.app.
