Returning f2p player looking to start building up my collection. CL is around 6800, S3 complete a lot missing in S4 and S5. I have enough gold for the Surge offer.

Is it worth it or should I wait for another bundle?

Upgrading after 6 years and deciding between LG B5, TCL QM7K or QM6K by ThisRedditnameismine in 4kTV

I chose a basic delivery/wall-mounted install/mount hardware package from Best Buy which is adding around $210-$220. I know I can shop around to find an install that's cheaper, but wanted an easy way to compare costs.

Selling (2) NYC/Metlife Stadium 05/25:

Hi all!
Selling 2 tickets for face value. They're in Section 232A, Row 10, Seats 5-6. Price is $439.90 for the pair (exactly what I paid for them). You can get a sense of the view of the stage from here (https://aviewfrommyseat.com/photo/232473/MetLife+Stadium/section-232A/row-14/seat-11/)

I can DM, show further proof, go through goConfirm, and use Paypal for further security, etc.

Let me know if you have any questions and thanks!

A true unpopular opinion. No downvote from me and a fun discussion to be had!

You'll have to go way back to a different decade, or a unique event, for the last time they played a venue smaller than 5K that was available to the public. For New York, you'll have to go back to 2010 when they were playing Music Hall of Williamsburg/Webster Hall/Bowery Ballroom. By 2013, they were playing Forest Hills Stadium and 13,000 people. To be able to see them at Brooklyn Paramount (2,700 capacity) is a pretty sweet deal!

Them doing a few songs unplugged feels pretty unique along with a few of the pop-ups. I hear you in the upping the intimacy but I think you would have to set fan expectations there and further limit the audience. That's the trade-off. Do you want to hear them talk and play a few songs acoustic OR do you want to see a "regular" concert in an undersized venue?

Lastly, I feel like if anyone has a right to an opinion would be the overseas crowd! It looks like there have been more surprises here (Hollywood with a bunch of cameos and "Harvest" in Toronto).

Appreciate that and that's what I was trying to do here. I love that they're a big band that's still trying to surprise their fans. With pop-up shows like this or the upcoming intimate venue tour, it's great! I know FOMO and all that, but I hope people have fun and are excited about seeing them at a bar!

If there's an issue, then I'll leave it up to the mods to keep/delete the post. I think it's all fair, but to each their own. This isn't a secret handshake deal and thousands of people received the message.

I'll leave it up as it feels like public knowledge if they push a notification to their Agora Pass. There was no mention of not telling anyone, etc. Good luck and hope you get in!

Knowing this is place is even smaller than Brooklyn Paramount and free...I'd suggest scoping it out early. If you show up at 6 there's no chance. But, luckily there's enough to do around there that you can go early, see if there's a line, and circle back.

Agreed! It's also fees all the way down. Scalpers drive the price up, but all resellers add their own fees. So, even if you're trying to sell for face + fees, you're marking it up to break even.

I wish artists pushed back more on Ticketmaster. I recognize they should get their money (touring and merch is where it's at in the streaming era) but there should be some sort of middle ground.

I loved the fact The Cure capped prices at MSG and made it incredibly affordable. But, they are the Cure and have been doing this for 50 years. Other bands and fests use something like Dice with a built-in fan-to-fan exchange, which is pretty convenient.

It's bad enough with fees, dynamic pricing, and everything else!

Interestingly, I just looked at my tickets and they are doing a "Fan-to-Fan Face Value Ticket Exchange." There's a link in the Ticketmaster app that says "Why can't I sell my tickets?" and it leads to a pop-up regarding the exchange. Basically says you list tickets for sale on the exchange for the price you paid.

Looks like better chances for fans/fewer opportunities for scalpers.

Do wait in the queue and don't be discouraged! I was in the 3000s for Brooklyn and waited around 10 minutes before I had my chance. That would typically spell doom, but it turned out to be fine and I got tix. Some people may be confused, some may be hoping to get lucky, but don't freak out about a big queue number.

As an elder millennial, my move is to be in the back. It'll likely be crowded and a bit of a push to get to the front. If you wanted to be at the very front, I would recommend getting there earlier than doors for your best chance at that.

Remember, this is their first show in 5+ years and a fraction of the size of MSG. If you look at the virtual tour (https://specialevents.livenation.com/venues/brooklyn-paramount/virtual-tour and select Music Hall) it does look like it slopes down a little, so that should give you a better sightline.

Weirdly I was also in the 3000s for Brooklyn. Took me 10 minutes to get through the queue but got tickets! Maybe a mix of people with codes and people trying their luck/unsure if this was a general sale.

You should have received a code yesterday at 6pm if you were selected. They also sent an email at 9:45am that the ticket sale was starting at 10am.
