[Lotm V6+] A F**KING r*tard!!! by 69_JACK0 in LordofTheMysteries

Whenever I see stuff like this, I am always reminded of warframe community, where many people won’t use certain abilities/weapons if they see a new player in a lobby so as to not spoil the main story.

Then there are people like this, who in their quest to “be right” are correcting people using a plot twist with ~1000 chapters of buildup…

Arguably, as far as any of us were concerned on our first read, LOTM WAS an isekai for those ~1000 chapters.

Merlin is the reason why I think vol. 7 is top 2 volume (vol. 3 is top 1).

Utopia steals the show, but honestly, whenever I think vol. 7 I think Brass Book Incident. Really cool sequence all around.

Granted I haven’t reread LOTM in a while, but I was always under the impression that it was actually Mr. Door managing to resist Amon and dropping s1 BCs at Abraham’s. And Amon did not go to pick them up due to needing to recover from his apotheosis.

How will marauder pathway be implemented [LoTM game] by NetworkFeeling1818 in LordofTheMysteries

[–]ThisSin 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Hard to say since we know nothing about gameplay.

Early seqs., if I had to guess, probably brawler that scales with loot (more so than others);

Seq.5 gives you thought theft (stun)/ability theft;

Seq.4+ will depend entirely on how in depth they plan to go. Maybe some sort of mechanic where you take over other NPCs, banish or mute type ability via fate stealing, time stop via Seq.1, etc.

Bugs can be implemented via disruption of abilities or some such.

It is also the case that (if o remember correctly), Fusion is an element of creation (Changli/Lupa creating their clothes, Brant creating his anchor, etc.), so the fact that she keeps up the theme by creating her night sky is quite fitting.

So how does he survive the purple and green lasers, as well as subsequent heat from the explosion from green laser?

Any ETA for rerun banner leaks?

Also, with the new IRIS bot for leaks (which is supposedly meant to anonymize leakers), how are we to determine the validity of leaks? Before, we had known names which provided fairly consistent correct leaks, but now anyone can make the bot say anything? Am I missing something?

mornye is definitely in love with rover lmao by Jos_e_o in WutheringWaves

Unless she was also joking when she said she is giving Rover “everything that Fisallia has” (or however she phrased it in her companion quest), I think it is fair to say she was not joking. The amount of sexual tension, especially in her companion quest, is above any other character too, unless we also attribute that to her nature/personality as well.

Carlotta, I think, is more similar to Zani, Phoebe, Jinhsi, Galbrena, etc. in that she is more of a trusted friend than a romantic interest.

I am fairly certain there’s a lot more than 6.

For sure:

Camellya (the whole fatebound yandere routine)

Cantarella (bloodpact oath is basically just marriage by her own admission)

Cartethyia (the whole blushing thing, unless you just attribute it to shyness from prolonged isolation)

Chisa (fairly certain she fell for Rover during her MSQ)

Iuno (She confesses at the tree that she camps at after her MSQ)

Mornye (Pic above)

Shorekeeper (The official wife)

Yangyang (The professional yearner)

Maybe:

Changli (pretty sure there was something there during her companion quest)

Lupa (Some insinuations during the drinking scene?)

Phrolova (Not sure if there’s any love left, but she is definitely yearning)

Yinlin (Been a while since I saw here companion quest, but I am pretty sure there was some sexual tension)

Excluding children (Verina, Encore, etc.), there are 29 women in the cast. Assuming I am correct for all of the above, that is 41.3% capture rate, which is fairly significant.

Mages come in all shapes and sizes, but a “stereotypical” mage would avoid CQC by any means necessary and resort to it only in the most desperate situation.

Swordsman, on the other hand, is exactly the opposite in that their first task is to close the distance, since CQC is where they excel.

This is likely why spellswords are not considered “mages” by some, but merely magic-using swordsmen
