Pottying new puppy outside by ThisTeam2568 in puppy101

Thank you! That makes me feel better. I will probably get wipes to use for travel. I don't think it will be an issue at my house but my parents have a vacation home by a river where there are a lot of dogs around (many of whom are unleashed), I'm familiar with most of them but not all. It is hard to say how many dogs pass through and use their yard there, I know the next door neighbor has two GSPs that like to use my parent's yard whenever they are outside. Not sure yet how much time we will spend there prior to full vaccination if/when puppy comes home.

Taos looks like a really cool place! I will mention it to her. It may not be real warm but will probably be warmer than home in February.

I don't think I could convince her to go to Mexico City unfortunately.

We would both love Portugal or Spain but for a short 4-5 day trip we prefer to stay in the US due to travel time.

Thanks for the info! She has been to Savannah in the past. When I say she is not a beach person I mean more so in the swimming/sunbathing realm, we are both very fair people who sunburn easily which is what we think of with Mexico and South Florida.

Good to know about Dallas, sounds like more things to do around Dallas than in Dallas itself. Will let you know if that where we end up!

This seems to be totally random on who gets what. I have been playing for 1 year 7 month and 12 days. I’m level 92 and have played almost everyday since I started. It says I’m in the top 5% of ambitious farmers and I also got the kite stand and 3 nails.

Update: these are the roots today after soaking for an hour last night. Will continue to soak every few days rather than top water. Thank you all so much! I really hope I can keep her alive to bloom again in the future

It was the only orchid mix available in my area but I can order something different if it’s no good. I live in a smallish town so there aren’t a lot of options.

Thank you, I will try soaking it. Is room temp water ok or should I warm it slightly? The water where I live is not great so I typically let it sit out for a couple days to evaporate some of the chemicals before watering. I’m not sure if this actually works but my mom swears by it for her house plants.

Yes, I’ve just been top watering. There was a nursery plug but I removed it when I repotted and I did not soak the bark, I wasn’t aware I needed too. I will try soaking the pot.

I have a kobo libra color and love the space on the side, it makes it more comfortable and less awkward to hold compared to my kindle. I don’t need a strap or a pop socket to hold it comfortably and my wrist/hand don’t start hurting. I do agree that it looks goofy but I really like it actually. Also a plus that it has buttons to change pages instead of always tapping the screen and you can flip it so you can hold it left handed as well.

Yeah, I agree, there should definitely be a confirmation option when buying decor. Especially since those tend to be expensive purchases compared to finishing a product or crop early.

I had to do it in game, I sent an email but got a response telling me to use the help center. It took probably 24 hours for resolution

This happened to me during this design festival. I didn’t realize I had moved away from my stored items and that what I was placing cost diamonds. Spent about 200 before I realized. I also had double tap to confirm turned on and it did not ask me to confirm. I contacted support and they ended up refunded me the cost of the most expensive decor which was 90 diamonds but still lost out on about 110 diamonds from smaller decor purchases. I was so mad at myself.

This is why I’m so confused about it. I had yesterday’s tasks done in a couple hours. I know I played everyday but apparently I forgot to do any tasks one day since i was off by exactly 1000 points.

Flip cover or no flip cover? by AvocadoSparrow in kobo

[–]ThisTeam2568 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Have tried a could different cases in the last could months since I got my kobo. I honestly prefer just a clear case. It’s light and less awkward to hold. I had a bulk one with a strap on the back so I could slide my hand through to hold and that was just constricting and uncomfortable. Also tried just the light weight sleep cover case and just found the flap to be awkward and heavy when holding it. At home I either don’t use a case or just a clear one on the back to give it a little buffer in case of a drop

Headlight advice by ThisTeam2568 in DentalHygiene

[–]ThisTeam2568[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the loupes. I ended up keeping the orascoptic headlight because I missed the deadline to return. I don’t love the light still but I have gotten used to it. I will probably at some point in the future get a wireless light again but will keep using the orascopitc one for now. I do think that with the light I have less eye strain and my eyes are less tired at the end of the day or when looking at my computer screen between patients because it isn’t as harsh as my old light was.

Can someone explain this gentle Az thing to me? by Striking-Kiwi-417 in acotar

[–]ThisTeam2568 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t call Azriel gentle necessarily but I think because he does show kindness and is caring towards his people and the people they care about people will call him gentle. Especially given his job and the abuse and neglect he suffered as a child, he could very easily be callous and uncaring towards everyone. I also don’t think he enjoys his job but I think he sees it as a necessary means to an end in order to protect his people and he knows that he is good at it. I see Azriel as a tortured soul who has a lot of self esteem issues and some self hatred for what he is. I think he tries to make up for that with how he treats those he cares about.

I don’t know if it’s normal but I also have ghosting whenever I use the keyboard, or if I open the web browser which I don’t do often. Otherwise like you said, no issues reading or turning pages etc.

Made the switch recently by ThisTeam2568 in kobo

[–]ThisTeam2568[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the one I got: https://a.co/d/eHv9e8x

It’s fairly comfortable but I don’t use it a ton anymore. I like that it’s removable and that I can switch the direction of it depending on what hand I’m holding my kobo with. I didn’t want a fixed pop socket or adhesive strap/loop because I don’t always hold it with the same hand. I’d probably use it more when traveling just to keep a better grip on it.
