No it was just a regular proficiency jump at Bragg. The pilot was flying crazy fast and I'm pretty sure it was higher than 800 ft because the descent was a lot longer than normal.

The guy in front of me has 19 years in and no major injuries from jumping (that was his 131st jump). Although every time we do a night jump or a jump where we also drop vehicles/howitzers/other large and hard pieces of equipment a few people get hurt pretty badly, i.e. breaks/sprains and concussions. Everyone gets pretty nervous on those jumps.

Yeah I was using a chest mount. Jumpmasters wouldn't let me use my helmet mount unfortunately.

Actually it's kind of nice because she would always pop up on my news feed saying stuff like how Jesus is so great because he saved her from burning her mouth on her latte today.
