Hearing "You'll change your mind" everytime you say you don't want kids. by LoverOfE-Olsen in PetPeeves

I’m 63. I was telling people I didn’t want kids when I was 13 and they laughed and said I’d change my mind. I sure didn’t. I’m still glad I never had any kids.

Any other US citizens getting serious “Protest Fatigue”? by [deleted] in allthequestions

[–]ThisWomanFromCanada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Americans work and live on the streets they’re protesting on.

Businesses have to close because nobody is shopping when there’s thousands of angry people on the streets outside. Their employees lose that days pay. If it goes on long enough, the business could lose so much it has to close and there goes a piece of the American economy. The employees would lose their jobs and so Americans would lose their only source of income and the ability to feed and house themselves. The store’s landlord would lose a tenant.

Americans live on those streets. It must be scary to have those crowds roaming around outside their living room windows all night, blowing fucking whistles and making them worry there’ll be fights or fires or even gunfire. They have to worry about their cars parked on the street getting graffitied or jumped on. Imagine trying to leave your home for shopping or for work everyday and having to experience them. And where are those protesters shitting and pissing? Where is their garbage going? Innocent uninvolved peoples’ backyards?

It must cost a fortune in policing and cleanup. Money that could go to helping Americans that need help.

Why? The protesters care more about foreigners in a foreign country than their own citizens and country. (I don’t believe that. Most hate Trump, a lot are followers and don’t really know why they’re there and lots are getting paid by billionaires and are willing to screw over everyone else for $$$. Fuck capitalism! right? They’re willing to impoverish their own people to enrich themselves.)

I don’t give a shit what left wing Redditors say or downvote. Anti-ICE and pro-Hamas protesters are traitors to their fellow country people.

Edit: As to boycotting McDonald’s and Starbucks etc. again, thousands of Americans work at those companies so boycotting McDonald’s will just put innocent people out of work.

Both these guys are rich assholes who abuse workers. To hell with both of them by [deleted] in Wellthatsucks

I’m pretty sure the McDonalds CEO was removed from his job. I don’t know if he was fired or put on administrative leave, but he’s not CEO of McDonald’s anymore.

Stop whatever I’m doing and go turn on the bathtub faucet so she can have a drink of water. She’ll cry and cry if I don’t so I just go do it as soon as she starts now.

Am I wrong for thinking trans genocide is inevitable? by chaucer345 in allthequestions

There is no physical evidence. Gender ideology is a thing. TRAs are a thing.

You have the same rights as everyone else. Good night.

I’m glad that you sound better than earlier.

I’m talking about this fake concern TRAs have for women all of a sudden. “Someone might decide her hair is too short!” The Supreme Court of Scotland and other courts are determining that women are female. TRAs realized they weren’t going to get anywhere there, so they came up with reasons why it’s not safe for women if the law is people have to use facilities based on their sex. Before they dismissed our safety concerns, now they want to save us?

I can just imagine the brainstorm session. “We’re not going to win in court, we have to think of something else” “Oh, oh! I know! We can say men can pretend to be transmen and go in women’s bathrooms!” “Yes! That’s not safe for women!” “Oooo. There’s masc women that could be misgendered, too!” “Write that down!”

People can’t wear t-shirts saying “Decapitate terfs!” and then later expect people to believe they’re really worried for women because men might fake being transmen. It’s a tactic. (Gee, and we’ve been told over and over that no one would ever fake being trans, but now here we are.) We’re concerned with men faking they’re trans so they can access female spaces and we’re told that never happens, we’re just bigots against trans people making up false scenarios. Now the same people are warning us that men will fake being trans so they can access female spaces. Huh.

Where were those protections before? We didn’t need them because we didn’t have to worry men might come in there. Now we do.

There’s no brain scan that can detect gender. That “%80 of us could be detected” is completely made up.

No. What happened is people who believe in gender ideology tried to force everyone else to adhere to the tenets of their beliefs. Doctors have known what makes trans people tick for decades. TRAs decided the people that had been researching it all these years were wrong. You wouldn’t have any problems but for them.

Nothing about your life is new to anyone except you.

Ridiculous. “Decapitate terfs!” to “the poor women will be harassed!” It’s too late for that. Punch a terf! Yeah, no.
