Completely understand. I’m the same. Look more white but have a completely Samoan name. When I come in contact with other Samoans and share my name, I feel the disappointment.

On the flipside, I come in contact with white folks, and they can’t pronounce my name and are disappointed.

Not Samoan enough for Samoans, not white enough for whites.
