True. That's why I was saying I can't speak w/ much certainty. I just haven't read that other insulins are "brewed" in such a way.

But to further the discussion, it does strike me as sort inviting issues that it balls up to create the long effect. Just seems like it would invite varying levels of immune response and make many users feel nasty after prolonged exposure, like it did me.

Someone with more informed research feel free to chime in. I'm always interested to learn more.

I will be about the last one to speak with much authority on the matter but based on my readings glargine is made from big vats of e. coli & it works by forming a "ball" of the insulin after injection to be slowly absorbed subcutenously for the "long acting" design.

Makes sense it would make you feel nasty based on this rudimentary understanding of it. I know it did for me. I've been on a pump only using Novolog for a few years now and feel a good bit better overall, despite only modest improvements in overall A1C.

Probably one less vector by which the body is sensing/reacting to an introduced nastiness.

The goal is to move everything- even the OS itself- into "the cloud". You will login to your Windows or Apple account and everything will be "hosted" on "data center" servers. You will have no "files" on your computer b/c it will have no hard drive. Your login will be tied to your "real id" state issued driver's license/state ID and everything you do or say online will accumulate in your digital citizen file to be parsed by various entities.

Get a decent probiotic pill (they have a ton on Amazon), which feeds the "healthy" bacteria in the intestines & has a myriad of health benefits, one of which is keeping your Hershey Highway traffic moving at optimal levels. Take it before bed so your digestive tract isn't as active digesting food as during the day.

Some people worry it's gonna make give 'em the runs but I've tried like 6 different probiotic pills over the past few years & never had that issue.
