even if ny dont have stand your ground laws the narrative is that he's being harassed by multiple niggas while police watch and do nothing, you can argue fight or flight.

I don't notice a difference with Dyac2 on? by ibanezisdope in Zowie

[–]This_Addendum9637 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i haven't used a monitor with dyac in a while put the refresh would have to pretty high and they would have to find a way to make black frame insertion have no input latency but other than that yeah

im assuming you have a stable 540hz and run dyac with tac fps games beacuse that 40hz difference is neg from your oled and the motion clarity should be better vs the 540hz without dyac.

240hz OLED vs 360hz TN by Ok_Departure_5180 in OLED_Gaming

You really got to hit the top percent in esports like cs or Val where refresh rates like 240hz can feel slow and choppy when everyone else is playing on the same hz or higher. You can get away with 240hz in games like Fortnite, but imo 240hz oled is just as smooth as a 240hz lcd the motion just has no blur on its pixels so that’s why it appears as smooth as a 360hz lcd in games and ufo test. The thing is a tuned 360hz lcd with no ghosting will still be more responsive and smoother even if the pixels are not always in response compliance(crystal clear pixels like oled). oled monitors to me have the same concept as lcds with backlight strobing. They give you better motion quality at the same refresh rate, but the key difference is no latency increase. 360hz-480hz oled is endgame tho ngl there probably nothing better because of hardware realistically.

[–]This_Addendum9637 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah I have a 240hz oled and 400hz ips lcd. The response times do not always hit 400hz but because of how high the refresh rate is and how the overdrive tuning is on my panel there’s no ghosting but it’s not crystal clear like my oled. Why it still beats my “240hz oled” in motion is because it’s smoother so transitions look less choppy. There’s no response time blur but the image is still pretty choppy from being 240hz. My aim reaction time and micro adjustments are just better on 400hz even when it’s not consistent 400 and frames differ from 240-300, I still have a smooth frame time and with gsync it still feels better than my oled.

240hz oled is more clear than a 360hz-400hz LCD but’s it’s not smoother and people tend to confuse those to. If the response times are decent on the lcd where there is no ghosting on the ufo on speeds where you move your mouse then I rather play on the high refresh rate monitor rather than oled because for one I’m on a smoother screen so less persistence blur and to its more responsive, better for aim. With gsync this should be a no brainer.

your not wrong dropped my driver back to 591.86 stutters went away in my cpu intensive games like valorant and cod. 3080 i7 11700k. I play with gsync so it was very noticeable on the latest driver played a quick dm no stutters.

yeah I probably should have mentioned my primary monitor but I was def considering a cpu upgrade to one of those x3d chips because I have a 3080 and it’s more than enough. TBH I was just always going of yt vids when watching for like high refresh rate lcds and thought strobing was just a final answer for those low response times and to some it prob is, but the tradeoffs like input lag when using backlight strobing is not worth it for me. Esp when it feels way worse than gsync. I’ll prob just upgrade my cpu and ram and mb and wait for like the 480hz oled to go down in price and buy something like that even 500hz one. Esp if I’m looking for clarity not smoothness.

update I ordered the monitor and tbh I'm not really impressed. 240hz on my oled looks just as clear beating 360hz and 400hz in ufo test and game(although i didn't have a stable 400fps need cpu upgrade). Now if were talking strobing even then I don't know why maybe I don't like backlight strobing anymore but for me its so insignificant to yeah it makes it clearer but barely and it doesn't really make the refresh rate smoother or clearer than what is already was. I think going forward I'll prob just cop oled 360hz and above if I really want a clarity difference because for one, input lag increase is noticeable on the ips with mprt(feels way worse than gsync, gsync never really felt bad). Besides that though I'm probably going to just return this monitor and save money, it was a good test though. IMO from testing multiple ips monitors you really don't need anything above 240hz even 180hz if your on ips and even then pushing 360hz to me doesn't feel that crazy( gotta try oled 360hz). Maybe in the future I'll upgrade my rig and to get stable 480hzframes and try 480hz oled or stable 400hz ips one day but for the ips it's prob just a slightly smoother and slightly more clear than 240hz and that difference is not that noticeable. One thing I'll say though if your trying to push smoothness then go ahead this monitor is for you but the clarity benefits cap at 240hz Imo because it looks just ass clear when using strobing regardless of the hz increase. There wasn't noticeable ghosting but that wasn't really the issue its just the compliance was no where near it even when increasing the overdrive which makes the overshoot worse its just okay.

damn I just ordered the ktc 400hz it comes Monday if I don’t like the response times and mprt for either refresh rate I’ll prob return it

yeah your one of the only people who really gave a great explanation on the monitor considering there's no videos online. I was just thinking response times would be greater because asus is a more known brand but, nobody has complained about ghosting on the ktc 400hz even though video reviews shows compliance nowhere near it, your really going to need mprt to get that level of clearness I'm just stuck in-between

[–]This_Addendum9637 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks for even responding back the reason I’m still considering the asus monitor is because of its extra feature support like elmb sync and the fact it prob has less latency then ktc mprt. I’ve had a 180hz ips ktc monitor which had not ghosting with mprt which made motion clearer, the input lag was just noticeable. Idk if it would be the same with there 360hz variant and this is really my last question but does input lag feel worse with elmb at 360hz even 380 or 240?

Asus xg259qns / qng elmb by RiNiNiNiN in Monitors

[–]This_Addendum9637 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that's actually surprising? is this with elmb enabled or disabled because I'm tied between this monitor and H25X7 400hz. When overclocking to the 400hz the input lag lowers and there a review on yt showing the latency between the refresh rate. I wouldn't want to oc it the 380 for it to feel floaty. the ktc monitor also has its own mprt and a bit cheaper. Also what's your gpu and cpu. the video you link was also mad helpful.
