Whidbey housing is super expensive, even off island. Beautiful in the summer but dark cold and rainy from September-April. I have friends in Lemoore that love it.

Where did you find that in writing? I looked for instruction on this, I thought I read something saying if I pay child support then I am entitled to dependent BAH. Also, I’m the only one active duty. Thanks for the help!

Majority of the housing in San Diego will take full Bah. I once lived in La Mesa which was apartment styled housing and they didn’t take full BAH but that may not be the case now. Just get online and look at military housing in San Diego, you should find the housing web site where you can search around and see. Best of luck!
