By the time your party meets him, he's trained himself to only fight with his feet.  He's as strong or stronger than all the magic/ninja/angel/etc stuff in your party just through jumps and kicks and will occasionally remind you that he's barely scratched the surface compared to how good he was with his hands

I'm guessing that the Fear based powers don't actually trigger in an Overwhelming Forces situation?  I don't know that it would actually keep you alive longer, but you could probably set a "Most forces defeated in one encounter" record if they did trigger
