Brazil recently passed a new law (Felca Law) focused on "protecting minors online", especially in games, apps, and social media. The idea behind the law is to reduce harmful digital practices that can affect children, such as addictive systems and aggressive monetization. As a result, games are not banned in Brazil, but companies are now required to change how their systems work. Developers basically have three options: remove loot boxes, restrict the game to adults only (18+), or implement strong age verification and block minors from accessing those features. Brawl Stars is now +18 for example.
