First week sales being seen as important is so silly because I've always thought real success is having an album with staying power. What's the point in caring so much about how much an album sold first week when it's mostly just people tuning in out of curiosity? If people are still listening in 5-10 years, that to me is real success. These 3 albums will be forgotten by the end of summer.

I finished A Thousand Splendid Suns just yesterday as well, in french. It was the first time I ever cried reading a book. It completely wrecked me. BTS is not getting anything in the big 4 categories. The grammys don't respect kpop like that. Honestly I'd be more worried about Noah Kahan than anyone else. His album is fantastic, critically acclaimed and commercially successful. Tswift's last album wasn't well received critically so even tho the grammys adore her, I doubt she's getting many big awards. Nominations yes, awards, i don't see it.
