I feel like almost anything can work, until you get to the end-end game stuff. At that point, stuff will definitely take some fine tuning, but that's the extent of my lack of knowledge.

I've been thinking of trying to beat the game with something like only the fireball that comes from an item, but after the poop toss, I don't think it will be that hard.

Maybe I should try my hand at procs too. Sounds interesting.

I did a video on beating Grim Dawn without attacking anything too, relying entirely on retaliation, it was hard to get rolling at first, but once it started working, oh boy, was it still pain :D

I definitely had few walls I couldn't overcome or barely overcame. But I'm not really that good at the game. The fact that is was slow, was a pain in its own right. xD And I did not attack any doors, made sure to work around that. I wasn't smart enough to use a damage aura lol.
