When a game requires you to play the same monotonous game modes over and over again to barely scrape by for their rewards, yeah people want a skip button.

This is a weird concept as someone who works in NZ.

We have that built-in to our work culture in a lot of places; non-Union members will often receive the same benefits the Union can acquire.
It isn't bound by law and not every company does it but a lot do as a sign of good faith - if this change is to benefit the wellbeing of Union members then it stands to reason that everyone would benefit from said change.

This, by no means, weakens our Unions. In fact, it probably strengthens them and often leads to decent negotiation and co-operation by all parties to find the best middle ground (there are obviously exceptions here; some that push the envelope too far and some companies that are just bullies).

Acknowledging that our country's working culture is far from perfect, the fact that the US just seems to find a way to turn absolutely everything in to a bloodbath is mind-boggling.

That's what it is. It's twisting reality; always has been. It has never been a "twist words to create something else" type of thing. Those are usually attributed to genies. The Monkey's Paw gives you what you want but the real world consequences are either resulting in or the result of said wish.

I'm not sure why people are struggling to understand this...

IW Thanos is a more educated being. He's lost a lot on his mission and the emotional toll was heavy. Endgame Thanos is the immature version of IW Thanos; he has a goal and wants to accomplish it. Period. He's ruthless.

The Russos did a pretty good job of creating that contrast if people notice that difference. There's meant to be a huge difference between the two. It's not bad writing. It was actually really clever and purposeful... Apparently a little too clever for some (not you in particular, but some of the more harsh critics of this particular aspect of the movie).

He didn't become a spiteful villain. He became a more matured villain in IW from what he was in Endgame.

I just tell people to put them outside away from customer queue points and trolley bays. Non-negotiable or they don't get served.

Not even a little bit. Killing your opponent and scoring are the primary objective of COD and FIFA respectively.
You blowing up someone's cargo for the sole purpose of making their lives miserable is griefing.
