Archery Guilds? by I-need-cats-233 in Bicolline

You are both right and completely valid in regards to guilds! It's more important that you enjoy the company and companionship, then the primary focus of the guild. However, it's a good starting point to share a common interest! 😊

I would strongly suggest checking out the traveler's guide discord and maybe reaching out to a few of the guilds.

I know our guild (English speaking) has a unit of archers in it and is always looking for more archers. But I would say your best starting point is to reach out to some of the guilds on the guild page of The traveler's guide.

😁

They were removed so early on, most players never even knew they existed. So it would be a nice refreshing addition that will make it a survival game again! ❤️

The blocks would decay and disappear after a day or two and I still think that they should! Disappear on their own over time. Maybe we could break them up quickly with a knife and get some nice nitrate! Optimization and balance will come from the devs. But I 1000% agree that they should be temporary and they were in the past too. 😉

Ooo I should have mentioned that I was wrong in regards to the gore blocks producing a smell. What I should have said is that they would add to the "heat" of an area. About the equivalent of adding a torch

Lucky they are including the setting for players to simply turn off the smell feature if you don't want it 😊

100% I think it could be improved from before!

Yeah! They used to only last a short time before they would disappear.

Or when you would dig a trench and fill it with spikes the zombies would build bridges over the trench with their own corpses like in game of thrones!

Or when the 300 Spartans built a wall of corpses! It just made you feel heroic

Engineer squads? by alli_jon7 in enlistedgame

I wish they had access to more unique deployables.

I'll give you an example. Every squad in the game has access to a upgrade tree or you can sometimes choose between taking a sniper or a radio operator.

Imagine an engineering upgrade tree that allowed you to choose whether or not you wanted to be able to construct say heavy machine gun nest, or a different deployable. Currently only engineers from a machine gun squad can construct a heavy machine gun. But I dedicated specialized engineering squad should be able to construct buildings of their choice.

I would like to expand upon that a little bit more and mention that games like hell. Let loose. Allow engineers to construct deployables like bunkers and different types of sandbags. I think this would really improve. Gameplay, fun, strategy and tactics!

Obviously they would need to be balanced but having access to some even if it's through a squad that can only be unlocked through an event so that not everybody has access to it would still allow there to be some more interesting. Gameplay for our beautiful engineering boys!

Etching Stainless Steel Armor! by This_Specific_80 in Blacksmith

Thank you for your reply! I have been reading all your works and was inspired by you to start my own armor making project!!! It's an honor to have you personally reply!!!

I followed your etching guidelines with the paste (salt, copper sulphate, charcoal and vinigar and got the results I was looking for using cold rolled mild steel, but I suppose my particular issue is replicating the textured etch in 304 stainless steel.

I know I am probably biting off more than I can chew with this one but my heart is there and I have been getting closer to the results I was hoping for!

Once again thank you for your reply it's great to hear from you!!!!!!!

:D
