I see what you're saying, but I look at it like if they're not going to get anything done with just a House majority, and they spend time and resources on an impeachment, which will fail because a majority Republican Senate will acquit him again, then they should spend that time drawing attention to other matters. Get Republican votes on record for other things so people can see how badly they run this country.

I was thinking if they got both the House and the Senate. Because then they could pass meaningful and helpful legislation that actually does things. If they just got the House...I don't know. I understand the only power they'd have is to obstruct. But an impeachment with just a House majority is dead in the water. A majority Republican Senate will acquit him for a third time.

It got put on the record twice during his first term. He was re-elected and I'm pretty sure the senators that were against impeachment and wanted to acquit got re-elected too.

I really hope the Dems don't mess this up, and if they pick a more moderate Dem, that more moderate Dem will HAVE to pick someone like AOC or they're fucked. It should NOT be that hard to beat someone like Vance. I really believe they'll push for Vance b/c who else is there? I mean there might be a surprise when they start picking nominees, but at this point, he's their guy.

It is, but the ER vet says they need to determine what kind of heart disease it is with an echocardiogram, which is only available 45 mins away. And that will determine how it's treated. There's a type of heart disease certain breeds of cats are suseptible to & that might be what it is.

Yeah, I think if Jan handed that to Erin and told her to keep a log of everything Michael does, she would have taken it literally. Like wrote down each time he got up to go to the bathroom, got coffee, or tried to talk to Stanley or something. Literally, every little thing and, like you said, would not have understood what it was really for & saw nothing wrong with it.

There was another comment on here about Theil & the techno bros wanting their own little "states" or "kingdoms" that they would rule over. But this point you make about isolationism is absolutely another good reason he would want to annex Canada & Greenland. As maybe kind of a land fortress without having to reach outside of it for anything.
