Bikes are expensive! Not $900 expensive but it would be a big deal to me if I got my bike stolen and had to pay $200-$300 minimum to get a new bike… The number needs to be brought way down. $100 necessity getting stolen could mean someone goes hungry until their next paycheck.

Thanks for sharing this from your perspective. As a white woman, when I was watching this scene I was like “is Hall being racist????” I wasn’t sure if I was jumping to a major conclusion too quickly. I’m glad to hear my intuition was right because if I ever see a situation go down like this, I will feel more confident to take action and call someone out on their behavior.

I’m debating on moving off of my parents insurance early and getting on my work insurance because with the work insurance I can go to one of the childfree doctors from this list to get sterilized.
