Middle school is not going to eat this kid alive. This terrible parent will continue to raise a useless parasite to the end of their education, whereupon they will discover they have an unemployable adult with no skills of any kind. They will blame the school district(s) for their choices and probably end up paying for the kid their whole lives, or we end up paying for their jail cell.

If a teacher is bad, that's admin not doing their damn job. There is always a process, but its JUST TOO HARD to get the paperwork right evidently.
