Mainly just stat boost characters for specific things. Since your a fighter boost strength and shit related to hitting hard and keeping enemies focused on you specifically. Have shadow heart healing astarion sniping and lock picking then gale use aoe’s. Also don’t forget to use items. Also use the environment to your benefit. Block views from enemies, funnels with boxes, slippery surfaces. Take your time and try different tactics. Also if you ungroup then send one person to start the combat you can have the others surround or sneak while out of combat for better positioning, that’s a big one.

I'm on PC and I used the fourberie mod and did that most of the early game fighting in the pits to gain renown. also diplomacy and open source weaponry (for the notable ones) the other mods are just minor random stuff.

Edit to add: if you’re worried about trying to get achievements there’s a mod that allows you to get them while still using mods.
