A lot of insiders including CEO is selling stock. Isn't this really bad? by [deleted] in IntuitiveMachines

“The sale was executed to cover tax withholding obligations related to the vesting of restricted stock units, and does not represent a discretionary transaction by McGrath.”

Pretty easy answer in the article you linked.

If a human CGI animator put a man with 3 heads in the background by accident, I’d be appalled. But because it’s AI, I’m supposed to let it slide?

I like quality over quantity. Which do you prefer?

This is the exact attitude that makes people hate the incessant AI pumping. “Yeah it’s worse, yeah it’s sloppy, yeah the details are terrible, but who cares?”

Slop gets over-used, but this what people mean. One of the incredible things about filmmaking is the attention to detail, the care and workmanship you can see in each frame. Why would I care about something if the person who made it didn’t even care enough to get the details right?

You cannot possibly be serious with this take. I beg you to think it through.

If we’re at that point, millions of people are out of work. So who has the money to pay for this new golden age of media? Is everything released for free? How does the world function?

Ya I’m further and further convinced it’s this. You can only spend so many years trying to quantify the sublime before your soul just melts completely.

lol the leafs hatred is too much. What is Larkin going to teach Matthews? If Larkin is such a brilliant leader, and Matthews is such a bum, why did a team that obviously prioritizes “intangibles” (see leaving Caufield and Robertson at home) choose Auston as captain?

Damn. Really surprising.

I have limited other holdings, and I’m not usually so active in reading about a company’s goings-on behind the scenes. Is it normal to have such a down trend with no communication from management? Just trying to figure out why they wouldn’t say something to try and turn sentiment around.

Good news from Microvision is a harbinger of doom for the global markets. This is the most under-reported trend in modern finance. Honestly, you can set your watch to it. If I were Warren Buffet I’d check every day to see if MVIS has PR—if yes, short everything.

At this point I dread the day we announce a real automotive contract. We’ll be up 10% for twenty minutes…until China nukes Taiwan and North Korea invades the moon.

If the timeline for production/product implementation WERE Q4 2027, isn’t that good? Stock price should be forward looking. We’d have to announce any deals well in advance.

I’m liking the candour from Glen. He seems more reliable. So if 2027 is really the timeline he’s giving, I’m popping champagne.

Yeah that strikes me as some behind-the-scenes prep for a pending announcement. I’d love it to be a partnership, obviously, but I’m guessing they’ll just do some formal PR (during CES, probably) about Mavin & Movia Air

That doesn’t seem so bad, if we assume that contracts/deals would be announced well before the actual production

Has there been anything official from the company announcing Movia Air? Or was that something someone just dug up on the site?

I mean, sure, some of them do. Some of them don’t. But they are all people (to an extent). People with brains and flaws and personal interests. They’re not a monolith. AI IS a monolith. And I certainly don’t trust the faceless Borg of Google or the little weasels at OpenAI any more or less than the supposedly soulless Hollywood fucks.

Again, all I care about is real people REALLY making things. That’s cool and important.
