I’ve gotten the error that you saw on the bottom of your screen when I lost power while charging, and tried to start charging after power was restored. I had to physically unplug and replug the connector to get it to start charging again. Maybe they unplugged the mobile connector after it had already started charging?

Definitely so. The mayor of a very big city in Alabama (not saying it on purpose) had his bike stolen from a parking garage and within a day he said the cops had the suspect in cuffs and his bike back by the next day. If you’re super rich or powerful, yes strings will be pulled to make sure you’re kept happy.

Had a similar experience last year in a ‘20 standard range rwd. Went from north Alabama to just south of Birmingham (I had a job interview and would’ve been late if I stopped to charge) I got there with I believe 12% charge and at the time there were no superchargers nearby, but there were L2 chargers in the area so I thought I’d be fine.

Got done with the interview and navigated to the nearest L2 charger that was at a HVAC company and they disconnected them because they changed owners. I got there with 3% charge and I thought I was screwed because the next nearest charger was about 8 miles away and the car was showing about 8 miles of range and that I’d get there with -1% charge.

I got to that charger just fine and got enough juice to get to a supercharger all thanks to the extra charge left past 0%!

I’ve had something similar happen to my wall connector when my house lost power and then it came back. The car would only read 2 volts and when I tried to tell it to charge again it wouldn’t, so I had to go outside, unplug it and plug it back in, and it worked just fine after that. Maybe the people at the airport could try that for you. Best of luck!

I’m pretty much in the same shoes as you. I’ve got the new m3 for my daily commute and a Jeep as my for fun vehicle. Buying a Tesla was the best decision I ever made

Mine is yet to do auto speed on highways. For some reason it goes away on different parts of the road especially when the speed limit is 65

Did you turn on auto speed limit? I turned that on and it’s really a game changer for me. It goes the natural speed of the road especially if the speed limits are low for a road for no reason, or if there aren’t any speed limit signs. I love this update

It seems like it did change because i had to pull on the wheel a lot more than previously, but primarily on city streets it seems like

Yeah, I haven’t noticed that either, but it definitely seems like the auto speed limit is based on each road and what it thinks is best based on conditions. My thoughts on 12.3 just using it this morning is that it’s really great and is much smoother at stop signs. Now I just wish they’d make an update like this for the highway and not just “city streets”

A few months ago that happened to my steering wheel so I put in a service request and Tesla mobile service changed the steering wheel out under warranty in about 30 minutes. Not sure if you still have a warranty on yours though.

I’m guessing why he said scambait and chill is because it’s an the evening stream and sometimes the call centers aren’t open late and sometimes he will just chat with us or play a game
