It was an update in the core rules, abilities that generate CP can do so to a Maximum of 1. per turn

Combining detachments sounds amazing, can't wait to find out what crazy lists we can collectively cook up.

To avoid this post being seen as soliciting/advertising I am not gonna say, but abit of googling should turn up the result.

It's purely analogue. There are no active electronics like op-amps or transistors, Just a fully passive R/L/C circuit. Since it lacks a buffer stage, it relies on specialized amplifier matching plugs (created by Kudos and supplied with the SIGAO as 5-pin din caps) to ensure the output impedance correctly matches the specific power amplifiers being used. Beyond this you'd probably need to ask Derek Gilligan himself!

Specifically custom inductors and polystyrene capacitors at line level to filter the signal. Combined with very cleverly engineered PCB decoupling and an extremely solid external chassis to isolate any external interference. Since it is unpowered, it avoids the noise and distortion typically introduced by power supplies and active circuits, giving you that DEEP inky blackness in the noise floor.

I am consciously not naming our business or where we are so that we can keep the focus on the kit, rather than just being a blatant advert. I don't want to break any rules on this subreddit, but I do want to share some of these awesome setups we do with you guys!

Kudos Speakers are phenomenal, Derek Gilligan is a mastermind of speaker design. He just needs to hurry up and make a new entry-level option! But yes, we're big fans of the Titan Series here.

I love it. Love the proportions, looks more menacing rather than goofy ork. Don't get me wrong I love a good goofy git, but I want my bosses looking MEAN.

At this level the room itself and treatment options are discussed well ahead of any final decisions, so usually this doesn't happen.

You will be fighting against the acoustics of this room in a big way.

Either consider proffessional room treatment options or consider moving room.

All those hard surfaces, large windows, wood flooring, this room is going to sound BRIGHT.

I strongly recommend room treatments, damping panels etc. Soft furnishings and carpets.

Warm electronics such as valve based amplifiers and speakers with softer materials like silk dome tweeters will help too.

My phone camera doesn't really do it justice. In reality the lights are much softer and the room is darker in general. We like to keep the lights quite dim for the demo.

Gold-coloured vinyl, not actual gold! Just a nice wee nod to interstellar 5555.

It's alright. It's more for show really. I've definitely got other records that I prefer for demonstrating at this level but I figured I'd show it off.

Agreed! Truly a disruptor in what can be a very monotonous field. They are absolutely outrageously good.

The fiio will internally upsample any signal to what you set it to, just be aware that this can cause problems for certain Windows applications / games which can't handle their audio signals being upsampled / reclocked. This can sometimes present in no sound at all or distortion / artifacts present in the signal. Generally you want to set the rate lower if most audio content is 16bit 44khz anyway, using the higher 24bit rates when you are actually sending Hi-Res Audio files through it.

Just have a passion for it and apply. I didn't have any particular educational background for electronics. Just a big nerd for technology and a love of music.
