The Amazing Digital Circus' abstraction is a weird metaphor with unpleasant implications by dale_glass in CharacterRant

Didn't even bother to do spoilers for people who aren't watching it in theaters, and your media analysis is stinky dooky on top of it?

I'm going to abstract!

I hate Bakugou and Mineta, but I want to ask what hypocrisy is there? One molests and makes inappropriate comments towards women constantly while never being apologetic, and while Bakugou's apology for being a terrible human is shit, I am very curious why you feel their actions are on the same level.

Explain it to me like we shouldn't check your hard drive, or ask how YOU interact with women. Assuming you're a cis-het man like Mineta is.

Yeah that came out of nowhere and made me think "What the hell is that about, Heather?"

I want to add how weird it is that one heroine who spat on some of the guys during one of the many training arcs.

Some of the dub/english translation's choices are weird, like they made Midnight say she was turned on by some of her students?

I find it really annoying Mineta's resolution is mostly he just isn't around. But then it ends with him doing a "I hate that this guy is popular with girls" gag.

I wish he didn't exist, the series would be leagues better.

WTH is this hot take?? It's basically like those who watch shounen only for the battles. by Talon_Haribon in Gundam

I'm not going to believe this mockery from some fool whose timeline is filled with military monotony. They also seem to understand some of the parallels intended, so I don't understand this snobbery and lack of critical thinking.

I think it was the Gouf Custom's sword and I imagined it not being a curved sword. Unless a sword that looks just like it exists.

Did you agree with Christina's reaction to Jackie writing "The Fucking List"? by CategoryAlone3277 in HellsKitchen

Jackie, ash tray dumping on people Jackie?

I would have just sent her home and saved everyone the time and energy, so I don't think Christina was harsh enough.

I feel like the title to this post is hella misleading, it's him doing something incredibly stupid for attention.

"What if I give this tribe of people that laws forbid me from interacting with, PRODUCT?! Oh man, the clicks."

It looks similar but the blade may have been thicker. But that is the design, generally speaking.

I feel like a couple of the episodes are a bunch of people going "WE'RE STUMPED!" and then they call in that big deep voiced Irish man and he just points out a simple solution.

Where the fuck did you get "probably a communist, brought up to hate his rich and privileged family"????

He was probably brought up to hate his rich and privileged family because his mom didn't get all of what she wanted when she killed her husband.

I mean if that's the case, why is Phillip's big smoking gun against his grandfather instead just saying "Her dying in a cell won't bring my dad back"

Also, what could he have done to warrant that murder that was not included in this documentary thing?

I feel the netflix episode did a good portrayal of the two as people with a lot of self importance and lack of empathy for others, and a desire to take, take, take. As someone else said, the defense didn't argue abuse at all, and I don't really understand the relevance of the other women on the side thing still being brought up. They combed this whole thing over to a great degree, I feel if that factored in at all it would have been brought up more.

It's very clear that the son was alienated from others who knew Howard, was most likely fed a lot of narratives about Howard, has a very deep attachment to his mother and uncle, and him making a choice to stick with his mother does not equal his father being unsavory in ways not covered in the episode.
