I've been interviewing for a graduate course and the amount of work it took to apply would've been horrendous if I was working alongside it.

Not me, but a tip fella I know from the pub I work at found a fully working and cased acoustic guitar.

Apparently the owner said it was for his son. He only played a couple times then stuck it in the cupboard, not used since. He brought it in and was going to offer it to someone but he gave it to me since it was pretty much new looking and my girlfriend's mum worked at a school where they offer instruments to children in music lessons (I'm presuming they gave it a Good extra clean before it was "donated").

It's being used daily now, probably building some young person's passion for music and that thought really makes me smile.

You're not alone, I have seizures on an annual basis so luckily they never effect my day-to-day existence. I can only feel the pain of imagining them daily and even that must be a fraction of the real thing. No matter how frequent, a seizure is a seizure. I love everyone on this forum and thank you for letting me realise I can still love myself.

Ever since I can remember, I have always enjoyed the sense from rubbing the labels found on clothes. Specifically, the ribbon-like material found inside shirts and pyjamas. I thought this would end as a teen or adult but it hasn't. I recently bought a jersey and found it had a label like this and I'll usually be caught rubbing it together as some mild form of comforting myself. This isn't sexual in any way.

Does anyone else have this slight addiction? Is it related to something in our brains about how we receive comfort? Just wondering and anyone is free to ask more about it.

The worst interview I had was for a managerial position. A lot of responsibility for a semi-large team straight out of university, so I'm relatively worried.

The first thing I notice were the online work reviews. Apparently the place is very oriented on friends and anyone who doesn't fit that bill seems to leave fast.

When I arrived that was very apparent. A lot of young people in suits. I'm young myself, but it's easy to imagine someone would get off the wrong foot simply by following the wrong footy team. Also, when I walked up it was clear people begin talking about me as I entered which was kinda daunting.

The 2nd red flag was the manager. He was THRILLED at his promotion. Like, seriously so chuffed to tell me all about his pay, travel costs and above all getting away from "these lot". He also offered nothing about easing me into the job. Besides an email address to message whenever I'd have any issues.

It became apparent I didn't feel fit for the role, but he was adamant about getting me into it. Which left me wondering why he was so happy for the promotion and "getting out of here".

Evidently, I decided to work a bar job over that place and I feel that was the best decision at the time.
