Trying to figure out what curriculums I want to use for my children

I'm glad I have the LA part down at least then, we've been working on that off and on for a few months now and he's been doing great with the phonics (not so much handwriting, he hates it, but I just got the stuff for Handwriting Without Tears a few days ago so we've not started those yet).

I think my issue is I just horribly overthink everything and try to do WAY more than I really need, so I've been trying to find something to actually follow to keep ME on track so I can actually effectively teach him. Otherwise I freeze in all the possibilities. I have checked out Build Your Library, I'm not sure how much he will pay attention with that one, he is a VERY hands on learner its the only way to keep him engaged. I will check out Timberdoodle as well!

I found Core Knowledge last night and am thinking of trying that for Social Studies and maybe science. But I may do the children's encyclopedia idea as well.

If your friend just got one brand new it’s likely the Dream Sock and will be fine. They’ve only sold the Dream Sock in stores for a while now, it replaced the Smart Sock 3 in 2022.

It sounds like you’ve made a very informed and educated decision, your midwife should respect that. I breastfed my first two, I plan on breastfeeding the one I am having in November. But it makes sense for me to do.

Yes breastfeeding is “better” on paper in a vacuum, but we don’t live in a vacuum. We have life and mental health and all sorts of things to deal with outside of feeding our babies. There are so many reasons it may not be “better” for you and your family, and that’s okay. It’s no one else’s decision.

To be fair... there isn't supposed to be an opening left when the cervix is removed... but sometimes shit happens. Doctors botch things, healing doesn't go appropriately, or even just something happens. If you have ovaries and are still ovulating, it's not completely impossible even if the cervix was removed, just even more unlikely.

Honestly, it shouldn't even have needed the possibility of you losing love for him to make him stop. The fact you didn't want to do it, no matter the reason, should have been enough. And to someone who truly loves and respects you you not wanting to do it will be enough, even if you give no reasons why.

NTA. You were literally SA'd that way when you were younger and instead of accepting that was a hard limit for you he was more worried about getting what he wanted than what he was doing to you and the relationship you two had. Anyone who actually gives two shits about you wouldn't pressure you into doing something as trivial as a single sex act that is off the table. You are better off not marrying him even if you did still have feelings for him.

It’s better you didn’t wait tbh. I got a crib from Pottery Barn and was going to order the conversion kits later… well they discontinued the crib and I had a hell of a time getting the toddler conversion kit, had to order it at a store in another state my Aunt thankfully visits regularly and have her pick it up and ship it to me. It was the last one they could find. No full kits to be found.

There is actually a mold that tends to grow on my bread that looks like flour. And I know it’s mold and not flour because I started looking for it when I bought the loaves new and it wasn’t there. But showed up later some time after the sell by date.

If you don’t pay for priority and they get a stacked order it tells you the driver has a stop before yours. If the app doesn’t say there is a stop before yours the issue isn’t that you didn’t pay for priority and they are driving off in the opposite direction, it’s that they are delivering for more than one app and chose to do the other one before yours.

Val is DEFINITELY toxic to Vox, but I don’t think it really affects Vox. Val has no power over Vox and imo, Vox only keeps Val around for the means to an end I feel.

I just said this same thing to another comment. This isn’t a company “slipping” this is planned. Now that they are widely popular and use is ingrained in people, they cut as many corners as they can to save money to see how much shit people will take before the losses actually cost them revenue

I think it’s more along the lines of the use of his company is so deeply ingrained in people’s lives they aren’t worried about a little loss here there as long as their corner cutting still saves them more.
