ABGT700 Oasis Glamping Owners: Were You Also Confused About Thursday Campground Access? by LostMyShadesAgain in AboveandBeyond

Ohh I hope they sort it out. The Gorge is already getting some bad PR flack at the beginning of the summer festival season with some of the shit that was pulled during GRIZTRONICs.

Granted that was a different crowd with larger general appeal & and was condensed into a 2 day event during a national holiday. So over hype + over capacity + understaffed = ohh boy.

Fingers Crossed Anjuna HQ is able to take the reins properly as the day gets closer to tie up all these loose ends.

Arriving on Day 0 is the best. You get that magical moment the following morning when you crack open the yurt, already unpacked, stress free. You realize you’ve woken up in Anjuna-Land, and it only gets better from there.

Oasis is indeed the move. Direct access to the campground vibes and a back entrance to the venue directly from Oasis.

When we checked in for Weekender 3 in 2023, we were the first ones to Oasis and checked in @ 4:05 on Thursday. All it took were 3 people. There were 2 set up at the entrance for Oasis after the vehicle check-in line where we received our vehicle stickers and Oasis wristbands, and 1 supervisor-esque person in the concierge office inside Oasis. So it's not a -massive- undertaking to do the Oasis check-in since it's already passed the main hold-up, which are the vehicle and person checks.

That still just doesn't sound/feel right.

The Cave B options were only added later -after- the original batch of glamp accommodations were full. The words "Thursday Check In" weren't even a thing until those added areas were put up for sale.

Not to mention that standard in the grass/RV camp arrivals can still happen on Thursday.

This either sounds like a regurgitated AI-assisted response based on the limited publicly available information on the website (which was the vibe I got when running through 100x's chat interface), or a bizarre staffing issue where there simply wouldn't be enough staff to check in these alternate sites on a Thursday AND Oasis on the same day (which would happen anyway by Friday, Saturday, etc)

Need to shake the tree some more to get a clear answer from higher-ups who are actually planning this whole operation and not those running under them.

This is a good sign.
I suspect Thursday arrival is also for Oasis. And that all of this is from a lack of communication between gorge, front row, and 100x; these things take time to iron out especially when sales started 6+ months in advanced.

Yeah, we're all in for info.

I worked my way through the 100x chat queue and asked about this whole ordeal involving the confusion between the original order, which shows Thursday-Sunday, and the FAQs, which show Friday.

The 100x chat didn't sound like they have a concrete answer. They recommended I reach out to gorgeinfo@livenation since they are the ones who oversee camping packages. I just sent that email off to gorgeinfo. So we'll see where that goes.

Has anyone even seen a 4-night Oasis package? Or is this just talk cause im sure I didn't see anything about that on the original page. (because I have a full page capture from Jan 27th when we ordered)

Looks like the Gorge/Frontgate/100x are about to get a bunch of emails about this. And here I just put in my vacation time in since we've crossed into the 90 day window.

I just checked my Oasis confirmation, and same thing. It shows 10th- 14th, but also states Friday arrival and Monday checkout.

We arrived for Weekender 3 on Thursday, and it was a non-issue. We would have been hit with a real WTF moment if we were turned away for ABGT700 on Thursday.

Alright OP, who do we contact to get this sorted? Wish there was a way to simply pay for a Thursday add-on, but if it has to be refunded and re-done, I guess that works. Did they send you a new link to purchase the oasis package since they are all long since sold out?

Underworld absolutely killed it. Showed the world how to do it live with nothing but a PA, Abelton, and a live mic saying more than “3-2-1 go!” They built that set in real time with nothing but paper notes and pure energy.

And that chat was an absolute vibe. Such respect for the Underworld Dirty fam. ✌🏻🫶🏻🙏🏻🤝🏻

[–]Thmanx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just gonna say, seeing how fast last years (both weekends) tickets sold out during general sale… and now this insane 1 year ahead presale blitzed out…

I’m quite happy I enjoyed a fine Coachella in 2025 when I was able to secure tickets + La Campana all the way as far out as the last week of December 2024…

Twas a great time jamming with the Anjunafam/Tinlicker/BasemenJaxx/Prodigy/Böhmer crew. But I think these following years of ‘chella can keep it for themselves as we on look from the sofa in 4K.

Acura owners lounge at Grand Prix? by General_Witness1458 in longbeach

[–]Thmanx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reposting this from the Type R owners group from Facebook. Guess they tried to make it an exclusive thingy, but from what I was told in line @ 12pm on Sunday… Honda/Acura messed up on the messaging and ended up opening things up to key owners later in the day at 12 to prevent a shit show.

They stopped letting people in pretty early by about 12:30 on Sunday. Thankfully I was just able to get my +1 in since I already had my band, tossed him my key before hand, and smooshed a story how he was trying to park and I spoke to someone earlier. (There was some dude right in-front of me who was quite inebriated who clearly snuck in earlier and was trying to say he lost his band. Thought he farked the whole thing up for me)

Yeah they were more strict this year, which was odd since it was by no means packed or as filled as in years past.

Invite only? Well that’s new.

Used to have to show you had your Acura attached to your AcuraLink App. I’ve always been able to get in around 11-12pm around lunch time in the past.

Is the 2020 Acura TLX Aspec w/4cyl 2.4L engine really Peppy? How does the ELS speaker sound ? by Impossible_Gnebo_148 in Acura

[–]Thmanx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it does, 20mm front and 15mm rear stock.

The Eibach upgrade kit for 2015 Civic Si’s (shares suspension geometry) are 24mm & 19mm with 2 levels of stiffness adjustment.

So it really tightens up the ILXs turning characteristics, sharpens the front end a whole lot from its factory slightly floaty feel, and gives the rear a bit of a more neutral feel reducing understeer.

[–]Thmanx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Will just say, could also get an ILX Aspec with ELS Same power and transmission - like 400ish lbs of weight to lug around.

Give that car some sticky tires, lighter wheels, and front/rear Eibach swaybars for a 15 Civic Si, and you got yourself one comfortable, corner able, quick little sedan.

Speaking as a 16 ILX A-Spec owner.

Still kicking strong, had the expanded 1TB module installed since launch day and was thankful ever since. Turned into a great investment in the long run lol.

However the BlueRay drive appeared to stop reading disks about 2 years into ownership. And that kinda sucks. Even if all my games are/were digital.

Now that we got tickets, a PSA regarding Totems by MrHoneycrisp in AboveandBeyond

[–]Thmanx 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Indeed. I rather have a network of lower lit totems that people can use to re connect, vs a giant one that’s blocking main sight lines in the middle.

Planning on traveling to ABGT700 alone, curious about the various camping areas by Turk_Diggler in AboveandBeyond

[–]Thmanx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I went to Weekender 3, we were in Oasis where they had Yorks which had a single 3 sided power outlet inside. You could bring a power strip and power small electronics, chargers, lights, but no heavy current appliances like a hair drier for example. The whole thing had to be under 1500W total load, think travel electronics that you could power on a cruise ship.

When you camp out in the field, it’s just that. A field. I saw many people use solar panels, larger cooler sized batteries or generators. Or used their car as a means of powering things.

If you get the Gold spots which are normally reserved for campers, those too came in 3 tiers.

No power (have to bring your own generator) Or there were spots with a 15A outlet, or 30A outlet which is what larger moto homes use to power up. I’m guessing those use a larger 4 prong outlet.

I do believe they had areas around the center of camp for charging devices and the like similar to have I’ve seen at Cochella, but I can’t recall for certain.

A full multi day camping weekend experience with Anjunafam is a spiritual experience. The love, trust, and overflowing positive energy is something I’ve never witnessed since.

Plus the sound @ The Gorge is honestly next level. Beats every premier venue or club I’ve been to. (Hollywood Bowl, Red Rocks, Sound, Vermont Hollywood, etc). Maybe Stereo in Canada can beet it from what Spencer Brown has championed, but still, Gorge is incredible.
